Hi, my name is Daniel. I am an adventurous, driven young guy with a lot of energy. I was born in Mississauga, Ontario (Canada), back then a smaller city, it is close to Toronto , however these days a place of over a million people. Although I grew up in a surburbanish area, many weekends, holidays, Christmases and parts of summer breaks, my family spent at a cottage my family has which is in northern Ontario. Here both my brother and I were able to be exposed to a much less sheltered part of Ontario, which is on a lake and surrounded by forests and wildlife. I grew up being very active from an early age swimming and also playing lots of hockey late into my teens. I also ran a lot maybe my thinking was why walk when you can run and Im a little known for this. My mom was born and grew up in the Czech Republic, so I have family there. Every year up until I was 16 I spend around 6 weeks, even more when I was younger, out of my summer holidays there at my grandparents house, which was on a small farm. Some of my interests are cartography (study of maps) and geography in general, cars, atvs, boats mechanical things with engines, and traveling and exploring. I have lots of outdoor experience, when I was 17 I spent about 3 months straight living in Algonquin park (a very large provincial park at over 7000 square kms located in Northern Ontario) with no electronics or communications to outside civilization. This was part of a boarding school academy I was in from ages 17 to 18. When I was 20 planed a bike trip across North America from where I lived to Cabo san Lucas, Mexico. This was one of, if not the best times, I have ever had. I enjoy movies and tv shows a lot and spending time with animals, mostly dogs. I dont drink or do drugs of any sort never been my type of hobby. Usually I can be a bit of a quieter person at first but usually get more open as time passes, I wouldn't call myself anti social though. Most people say Im more mature than other people my age, which I think is true, I just don't have some of the same interests as others. A good quality of mine is that I like to be organized and Im not forgetful. Over the past 9 months I have been exploring Europe. There is no category of something that will inspire me I know it when it comes along. I have always liked traveling on my yearly trip to Europe to visit family my favorite part of the trip was the actual journey there.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have finished my high school education and am trying to decide on what I would like to do for a career/job. My plan for a while has been to become a firefighter starting off first with wilderness and forest firefighting but I haven’t completely decided. In school I took a construction class where we did sone woodworking and building. I have also done some metal working in the past for example I have forged a few knives out of different types of steel and made handed for them from start to end fairly recently. I also took a two month cooking/culinary course in which I learned many things including the way a restaurant functions food safety and also completed a few certifications. I also got my bartending license I also did a cooking course when I was younger in high school in which we made meals for the school.

I have worked in kitchen that prepared food for charitable reasons, I have also worked in two warehouses one was a massive pet food factory for dogs and cats. The other was a big warehouse that distributed large supply shipments for mostly restaurants fast food chains and places that needed a lot of food. I would prepare shipments of pallets and drive forklifts. Throughout my life I have also done a lot of work and care with animals like dogs, cats,, fish, goats, pigs and also honeybees.
