Description

My name is Daniel Nijenhuis, I’m 28 years old and currently doing my master’s in Physical Geography at the University of Copenhagen. I’ll be taking a break from my studies in the spring of 2026, and I’m really looking forward to using that time to travel and learn new things.

I’ve recently started learning French — my skills are still quite basic, but I’m a keen learner and excited to improve. I’d love to explore France more thoroughly, not just by visiting, but also by experiencing everyday life. I enjoy being active and I don’t mind physical work.

In my free time, I like to go climbing, both indoors and outdoors, and I generally enjoy staying active.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked at a school for young people with both mental and phisical disableties for 10 months so I have accumilated a big knowledge of how to be around and work with people who are disabled. in the practical area I have incauntured everything ranging from electrical wheelchairs to tube feeding.
I have younger siblings and I have worked with mentally disabled people so I would say that I am fit to take care of children of all ages.
I can cock a good meal from scratch.
I speak Danish, English and Dutch (almost) fluently, I speak Spanish well enough to have a conversation and I also know and understand some German. I would be able to help people to maintain their English, Dutch or Danish skills by speaking with them, as well as teaching English and Danish. I have attended a language course in Spain, as well as been there multipal times and travelled Colambia for three months, which has given me a decent knowledge of Spanish.
I am willing and eager to learn new skills if the opportunity presents itself!!!
