Hello to you who’s reading this!
I’m Cristina, a 27 years old Italian girl (almost 28!).
After a long time, I finally found the courage to join Workaway, because I feel a deep need to travel while making a difference for someone, not just passing through.
I want to contribute, meet new people, discover places and cultures, and fill my life with meaningful experiences and emotions.
I still believe in humanity, in people helping and supporting each other, and in the beauty of sharing kindness.
I see myself as a very empathetic and sensitive person. I love listening, understanding others, and creating genuine connections with the people I meet.

I have experience with children, in 2020 I volunteered in a kindergarten in Brazil (an experience sadly cut short by Covid), and I also worked as a babysitter in my hometown for a year.

I’m a creative person who loves drawing, practicing yoga, being in nature, and spending time with animals. I consider myself adaptable, versatile and ready to learn new things. I can easily adapt to different places, and I’m not looking for comfort.
I love working in a team and being around people, especially from different cultures!
I can’t wait to start this new adventure!

I can teach basic English, but I’d also love to improve and practice it with other volunteers or local people! I really enjoy speaking Spanish and learning words from the local language of the country I’m visiting. I always find cultural exchange incredibly beautiful!

I have a degree in Product Design, and I’ve always loved drawing and painting. I consider myself a very creative person and I like doing creative and practical work!
I’ve worked as a babysitter and did a short volunteer experience with children (unfortunately it ended early because of Covid).
I see myself as a versatile person, I love cooking, doing practical work, and I’m never afraid to get my hands dirty!
