Hola, somos Julien (28) y Clem (24), una pareja francesa que está viajando por Sudamérica durante un año.

Para nosotros, el voluntariado es la mejor manera de descubrir nuevas culturas y formas de vida. Creemos que dejar nuestro hogar para vivir y trabajar en un país diferente es una oportunidad increíble que nos permite comprender realmente a las personas que conocemos. Estamos muy motivados por esos momentos de intercambio!

Ambos estamos convencidos de la importancia de cuidar nuestro planeta. Esto puede ser a través de una mejor comprensión de la agricultura, la optimización de la construcción o el descubrimiento de nuevos productos, por ejemplo. Nos encantaría aprender de nuestros anfitriones sobre cualquier tema.

Un poco más sobre nosotros:
CLEM:
Crecí en el campo francés y siempre me ha gustado estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Me apasiona la comida y los buenos productos; probablemente porque mi padre tiene una panadería orgánica y un restaurante tradicional donde trabajé mucho. Cocinar alrededor del mundo con productos nuevos y locales es un regalo por el que estoy muy agradecida. Estoy acostumbrada a trabajar al aire libre y lo disfruto (cuando era más joven trabajé en los campos y cuidar de los animales de la familia —gallinas, caballos, gato y perro— era una tarea diaria). También estudié organización empresarial y trabajé como responsable financiera en una pequeña cadena de restaurantes. Descubrir nuevas culturas, la naturaleza y diferentes formas de vida es una gran motivación para mí, y espero seguir aprendiendo cada día gracias a Workaway.

JULIEN:
Siempre me ha entusiasmado descubrir el mundo, su naturaleza, sus paisajes, su gente y sus costumbres. Me maravilla nuestro planeta, lo que podemos hacer y todo lo que aún nos queda por ver y aprender. Soy un trabajador serio cuando es necesario, sonriente y disfruto de todo lo que hago. Tengo buena resistencia para trabajos físicos y puedo trabajar de manera eficiente en cualquier tarea, siempre que me la expliquen bien.

Siempre he cambiado de trabajo para ganar experiencia y ser lo más polivalente posible. Todavía tengo mucho que aprender y eso es lo que me motiva a seguir avanzando.

Hello, we are Julien (28) & Clem (24), a French couple who’s travelling South America for a year.

For us, volunteer work is the best way to discover new cultures and way of life.
Indeed, leaving home to live and work in a new and different country is an amazing opportunity which will make us truly understand the people we meet.
We are hungry for those sharing moments !

Both of us are also convinced of the necessity of taking care of our planet.
This can be by a better understanding of agriculture, the better optimization of construction or the discovery of new products for example !
We’ll be more than happy to learn from our host about anything really.

To say a bit more about us !
CLEM :
I grew up in the French countryside and always loved to be in contact with nature.
I’m passionate about food and good products ; probably because my dad has an organic bakery and traditional restaurant where I worked a lot ! Cooking around the world with new and local products is a gift I’m thankful for.
I’m used to working outside and enjoy it (I’ve been working in the fields when younger, and taking care of the family’s animals (chicken, horses, cat & dog) was a daily task).
I also studied business organization in school and worked in a small restaurant chain as a Financial Manager.
Discovering new culture, nature and way of life is a huge motivation in my life, and I hope to continue learning everyday thanks to WorkAway !

JULIEN :
I've always been thrilled by discovering this world, its nature, its landscapes, its people and their habits.
I'm amazed by our planet, amazed by what we can do and what we still have to see and learn.
I'm a serious worker when needed, smiling and enjoying every things that I do, even repetitive tasks.
I'm resistant to physical jobs and can work efficiently on anything as long as it is well explained to me.
I've always changed jobs to gain more experience and be as multi-skilled as possible. I still have a lot to learn and this is what motivates me to keep on going forward !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are people who love to be outside and work with our hands.

We worked a lot with animals and enjoy taking care of them !

As we both work in the tourism sector, we know how to take care of people and both speak French, Spanish and English.

We absolutely love cooking and would be happy to make you discover some French specialties!

Since both our jobs are related with finance, we are comfortable with numbers.

More than anything, we are fast learner and would love to develop new skills.
