Hi everyone!
I am looking for my first Workaway experience because I deeply want to discover other ways of living. I think we live limited by society, unable to live outside its rules (work–home–hang out–vacation, and repeat). Of course, I want to learn about other cultures, no matter where they come from. I really enjoy listening to other people.
In Tarragona (where I live), I spend my time going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and taking part in Catalan cultural activities (I’ll tell you more when we meet!).
I also have a "second home" about three hours away by car — a small village in the middle of nowhere, where my great-grandfather was born. This place has made me love nature and animals. Since I was a child, I have been in contact with country life, and I truly enjoy it.
I am a very hands-on person: I love cooking and doing crafts. I enjoy manual work, and because of that, I’d describe myself as patient, meticulous, and curious. I try to be open-minded and kind (and I think I am). One of my strengths (and sometimes a challenge) is that I’m very empathetic.
I’m passionate about communication, culture, and audiovisual projects, but lately I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed in this field. I want to take a step back to gain some perspective, discover what I truly enjoy, and figure out what I want to do in the future. To do that, I’d like to spend 2–3 months abroad (from mid-January until the end of March).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love cooking; Spanish and Catalan cuisine are amazing. I can make something good with a few eggs and some vegetables. I can do crafts and manual work, and I love creative and artistic activities.
I have some experience in cleaning and farm work, with animals and on the land. And, of course, it would be a pleasure to learn new skills.
I have studied communication and cultural management in case it's useful :)

I’m really passionate about Catalan culture. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s something very special to me, and I’d love to share and talk about it.
I’m also interested in politics and enjoy discussing ideas and theories about our society.
Besides that, I love audiovisual art and music, and I’m always excited to discover new things that help me grow, learn, and gain new experiences.
