Ciao, I'm Ciriaca Erre—an Italian/Swiss artist and global walker for Peace and the Planet.

My roots are in Matera, one of the world's oldest cities, and I've lived also in Switzerland and London.

I feel at home everywhere, yet I don't belong anywhere. Earth is my home, and humanity, my boundless family.

Almost two years ago, on International Earth Day 2022, I embarked on a radical transformation, letting go of my family, career, and all, for my most extended and challenging art performance intertwined with life: '2 years, 2 months, 2 days - Homeless/Fearless/Borderless.'

During this transformative journey, I started a solo walk for Peace and the Planet from the hottest season in the south of Italy to facing winter's trials en route to the London Peace Pagoda.
A Peace March spanning thousands of kilometers started in Europe and from there, I extended my Peace March worldwide, also accompanied by Japanese activist Buddhist monks , advocates for Peace, who inspired my project.

The culmination of this adventure awaits in African caves, where Homo sapiens survived the ice age, resonating with themes of migration and travel as integral facets of human evolution.

Beyond mere footsteps, I immersed myself in research of HumanKIND and a new way of living. I documenting utopian communities and naturally started different volunteer work.
From a touching experience at Mother Teresa's house in Kolkata, India, to participating in reforestation efforts and aiding monks in building Peace Pagodas, my odyssey unfolded through impactful encounters and meaningful contributions.

Driven by a passion for experiencing life and a quest to explore Humankind, Mother Earth, and our spiritual essence, my odyssey began on foot in Matera's caves, facing winter's trials en route to the London Peace Pagoda.

For me, travel transcends mere movement—it's a profound exploration of experience, an odyssey that expands consciousness by traversing both internal and external borders. It's a journey into the uncharted landscapes of humanity and the planet, reflecting the intricate terrain within ourselves. Travel is the pursuit of simplicity and authenticity, a deliberate reconnection with our human ancestral roots.

While excelling in visual arts and different media with international recognition, I'm also very good in practical things like kitchens, gardens, animals, childrens, handy skills, computer,home design, social media.

I have patience, I care about detail, kindness, I'm adaptable, I'm clean, respectful and compassionate person.

Excited to help and contribute across various fields, eager to develop new skills, learn along the way, and embrace the richness of different cultures and experiences especially connected with a sense of ecology, awareness, human and women rights, animal rights.

I'm embarking on a volunteering journey fueled by eagerness to help, learn, and explore more about new way of leaving.

As I said my abilities range from handy skills to intellectual and practical tasks like gardening and kitchen work to artistic pursuits such as photography, painting, video, computer, social media, graphic design and more.
