Hi I'm Chris a 22 year old New Zealand Citizen from Scotland :)

I really enjoy making and repairing things with my hands. I've done quite a bit of hill walking and mountain biking in Scotland. I was very committed to training and racing Rowing while studying Mechanical Engineering at university. Since graduation I have been looking for opportunities to travel.

During the summer of 2025 I hitchhiked the length of Scandinavia. Outside a small town in Sweden I was picked up and ended up living with a local family for about a month. While staying with them I helped out with various tasks such as; cooking, lawn mowing, and bicycle repair. I would welcome the chance to stay and help out others in a similar way to this while learning new skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am handy with a wide range of DIY tasks and have made tables, chairs, and sheds before. I have worked around animals before (chickens, horses, pigs, sheep) and would be happy to do this again.

I recently graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a 1st in Mechanical Engineering. I believe this shows that I can apply myself to solve difficult problems and pick up complex information quickly.

I also have a full manual UK licence with no points on it.
