Hi,

We are Chiara and Marco, a couple of travellers from Italy. We are travelling to Nepal in September-October and would love to get to know you! A bit about ourselves:

I (Chiara) lived and grew up in Rome, but I've now been living outside of Italy for almost 10 years (first studying and then working). I work as a sustainability specialist. I adapt well to new places and I enjoy meeting and socializing with people—especially if it's around a table! Since I moved here, a friend has given me a space in her garden where I can grow a small vegetable patch and take care of it, and since then I've been spending my free time with my hands in the soil. When my hands aren't full of dirt I enjoy making macramé and crochet and I am always excited to learn anything new!

I (Marco) grew up in a small village in the mountains of Italy, surrounded by hills and cold rivers. Since I was little, I’ve learned to walk and climb in nature—activities that are still part of my life today. I also enjoy living in the city, and at home I’m happy cooking, especially sweets and cakes to share with friends and colleagues. I am a chemist by profession and have been working in science for many years. I have some experience in farming, animal husbandry and alternative construction methods and have been practicing pottery in the last few years!

We both are fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. We can also communicate in French, German and (a bit of) Basque!

We are searching for a place where community is at the center and there's a strong connection to nature. We love gardening, eco-building DYI and would love to help you with your projects :D
