Hello my name is James and I'm from Canada!

A bit about myself:
I just graduated university and am taking a gap year. I volunteered one summer in South Africa and it was the best experience of my life. I enjoy volunteering and traveling so WorkAway feels like the best combination of both worlds! I'm really keen on learning more about the local culture and interact with the residents. WorkAway seems like the ideal way to do it as it allows me to immerse myself in a new place.

My experience:
I have work and volunteer experience in teaching, tutoring, and babysitting. My family has a farm in Canada so I have done some farm work before. I'm also an amateur cook and my specialty is Chinese cuisine.
I'm also eager to learn new skills and I do not shy away from hard work. I look forward to meeting you and contributing my skills. I'm fluent in English, French and Mandarin.
