Description

My name is Cesare, I'm a 20 year old physics student, about to finish my bachelor degree in Rome.

Before proceeding with my studies I reckoned I wanted to travel far away from the places I grew up in, possibly stabilizing somewhere in order to really get acquainted with the people, the environment and the costumes, and to give a significant contribute to the project I'm involved with.
I grew up in a family of travellers and developed a curiosity towards adventures and encountering different lifestyles than the one I grew up in. I was born in Belgium and grew up there, then I moved out of home to go to Rome for university; I would say I am a curious and flexible person, I really would like to do things I have never done before, push my boundaries and live in most different conditions.
I like handcraft work and enjoy drawing, and I really am passionate about nature and animals , as I grew up with dogs . I am social person and enjoy working together, but I learned to appreciate time on my own as well especially in the last few years.
Always had a garden in my house which I helped to maintain, I am not an experienced gardener but I know the basics, and definitely eager to learn more. My wish is to be in contact with nature, learn or develop new skills, and help local communities realize their projects in any way that I can. I would especially like to do manual labour: building, gardening, and all kinds of sustainable projects.

I am a guitar player, which I love playing alone and in company, I believe music's the great communicator.
Always practiced sports very much, mainly football, sailing, boxing, in the last year, also some surfing and climbing (these last two at beginner level, but I enojy them very much ).

I joined workaway because I want to contribute to a Project, meet new people and share moments with them, and because I want to learn.

I speak fluently english and french, other than italian which is my mother tongue.

I would like to learn Spanish mainly. I am fluent in both English and French due to growing up in the multicultural environment of a European School, where the importance of integration through languages is emphasised. Therefore ,I would enjoy also teaching them in any way that I can. Italian is my mother tongue, I'll be happy to teach it as well of course!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am experienced in olive harvest, I have done it since I was young, and I am used to work in the vegetable garden and in orchards, as my family has a house in the countryside where we have olive and fruit trees and grow vegetables. I helped painting a part of my house a couple of times and helped with renovation work during the years, from lifting weights to flowering the plants and feeding the chickens (we have a few in the garden). Mainly, I always helped with the gardening and with work in the outside.
I also did babysitting for many years
