Hey! My name is Carina. I'm from Hong Kong, China. I love outdoor activities and nature. I enjoy doing photography and cooking. I love animals, connecting with people, learning more about the nature. I would love to travel more close to the ocean as I found a passion in surfing just last year! I can't wait to discover more of Canada and learn from the locals.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I was little, I always had an interest in cameras. I went to university for film and theatre production, after that I have been working in the film industry as a camera operator and assistant. I love taking photos and documenting experience.

Growing up in China and Hong Kong, I speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. I would be so happy to teach these languages to people!

I also like reading and found myself loving to write small poems and journals. I could help with writing articles for websites.

I am a very hands on person, I love working with my hands. I deal with the cameras all the time, I do film developing myself and love to learn anything that I can do with my hands!

Even though I am not a great painter, I absolutely enjoy drawing and painting if there are projects that needs help with. I can use my research and creative mind to bring a piece into life.

I had pets for the last 8 years, I love animals, I had cats and I am super good with taking care of them and giving showers. I have taken care of puppies and I would love to take care of more dogs as well.

I have found myself loving finding solutions and coming up with new ideas as well, so anything that need help with I always love to be a part of that.

I like learning new things, new culture and languages. I just finished my first solo travel early this year for 6 months, I travelled in Indonesia. I like taking actions and being active!

I love connecting and communicating with people, I cannot wait about the journeys I will take on workaway!
