Hello from Novi Sad, Serbia! My name is Boris and I'm happy to become part of this community!

I recently finished a chapter of my professional career in software testing and decided to take some time to explore new places, meet interesting people and experience a different way of life before jumping into my next opportunity.

Over the past five years of my career, I mainly used my vacation days for travelling. However, I started to feel that short trips were not enough to truly experience local life, so I began looking for volunteering opportunities and discovered the Workaway community.

I spent the past month volunteering on Evia Island in Greece. I helped with various tasks, mainly gardening, and had a wonderful time experiencing life in an authentic Greek village.

I am interested in projects related to outdoor activities, gardening, hostels, tourism, cycling and projects connected with nature, but I am also open to different experiences where I can contribute, learn something new and meet inspiring people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can help in many ways, from cooking, cleaning and general maintenance to light gardening, taking photos or creating videos for social media.

During my studies, I gained experience in different areas and tried various jobs while working two summer seasons in the USA. From lifeguarding and housekeeping to kitchen prep work and working as a waiter, I would say that I can help with a wide variety of tasks :)

I’m not afraid of physical work and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, around animals or with my hands in the soil. I'm always open to learning and trying new things, so I will be happy to gain new skills and help wherever needed.

I easily follow instructions and always try to be reliable and easy-going.
