Description

Hello there dear reader, I am Boaz a 19 year old boy from Amsterdam, I just finished highschool and was about to study Industrial design, but something in me told me to delay this for another year. And so I did, I gave myself a year, a year to see some of the magic this world has to offer. Right now I am travelling solo through Japan, not knowing what will happen or who I am going to meet, and that is just one of the best feelings you can experience. I will always be curious and wil never stop wondering and wandering about and around this planet. I have many interests, maybe too many to list them all down here, but a few I will share. I love photography and seeing the world from a different perspective, it gives me the opportunity to tell stories and show others how I see the world. It is a way to connect for me, the same goes for my passion for food, nature and cooking. You can not make me more happy than cooking a good meal together and sharing stories. I am always open for new places, people and possibilities. When I do something I go all the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Bored is something I will never be, I find joy and interest in the smallest things. When I am curious about something, I won't stop until I know everything about it. This is a big influence in my daily life, I love to fill my days with doing things I have never done before and are interesting to me. A few days a week I work in a bakery and café where I learn all about bread, coffee, different processes to prepare food and how perfection is to be found in the smallest detail. I love the job, it gives me joy to learn, socialize and teach. When I work I will always do the best I can, striving to better myself each time makes even the most boring job interesting. Besides my job in the bakery I work parttime in the harbour of Amsterdam as luggage porter, a place for me to blow of steam while lifting suitcases, handling big cruiseships and learning about logistics. Moving around and sporting is very important to me, I cannot see my life without sport in it, a lot of my free time is spend running or strength training, keeping fit allows me to live the active lifestyle I like so much. I am used to long days of hard work, and am not scared to put in some effort to get something done. While doing all these things I learn a lot of practical skills, I am a good cook, know how to handle most (power)tools, and have experience in renovating and fixing stuff. I can teach you a lot about art, music and photography, I do some jobs as a photographer in the side and play drums for over eight years now. I am easy around children(I have two little brothers), and love animals I raised two ducks from abandoned eggs. I learn quickly, I often throw myself in the deep, for me that is the best way to learn, and gives me the possibility to gather the skills I need to tackle a job or problem. When I do something I go all the way!
