Ciao a tutti,
mi chiamo Annette. Vivo vicino a Colonia, in Germania, e sono per metà italiana: mia madre è tedesca, mio padre siciliano. ;-)
Viaggiare è la mia passione, sia nella vita privata che in quella professionale. Lavoro come lighting designer freelance e collaboro con diversi teatri in Germania e Austria.
Il mio paese preferito da visitare è l'Italia, a causa delle mie origini ci vado il più spesso possibile. Amo la cultura italiana, il cibo, la lingua e anche il sole e il mare.
Ho già maturato esperienza come woofer e ho lavorato in una fattoria biologica in Austria e in un caseificio Demeter in Germania, dove mi occupavo di pulire le stalle, fare giardinaggio e aiutare nella produzione di formaggio e yogurt.
Inoltre, molti anni fa ho lavorato per diversi mesi come volontaria in un rifugio per cavalli, occupandomi degli animali e svolgendo tutte le mansioni necessarie.
Quando non sono in viaggio o al lavoro, mi dedico ai miei hobby: leggere, scrivere, fare sport (ad esempio yoga, fitness, nuoto, ciclismo), ascoltare musica e andare ai concerti.
Seguo una dieta vegetariana/vegana e compro solo alimenti biologici. Inoltre, cerco di ridurre al minimo la mia impronta ecologica e di non danneggiare l'ambiente con il mio comportamento (di consumo). Per me è importante vivere in armonia con la natura, gli animali e le piante, per quanto possibile in città.
Qui su Work Away cerco persone alternative che la pensano come me. Oltre alla mia lingua madre, il tedesco, parlo inglese e italiano a livello intermedio (B1-B2) e vorrei migliorare le mie conoscenze. Per questo motivo, se possibile, non vorrei parlare tedesco all'estero! :-)
Sarebbe bello se in questo modo potessi trovare l'opportunità di scambiare idee con altre persone.

Hello everyone,
my name is Annette. I live near Cologne in Germany and am half Italian; my mother is German and my father is Sicilian. ;-)
Travelling is my passion, both privately and professionally. I work as a freelance lighting designer and work at various theatres in Germany and Austria.
My favourite travel destination is Italy. Because of my roots, I want to go there as often as possible. I love Italian culture, food, language, and also the sun and the sea.
I have already gained experience as a woofer and worked on an organic farm in Austria and on a Demeter dairy farm in Germany, where I mucked out the stables, did gardening work and helped with the production of cheese and yoghurt.
Many years ago, I also volunteered for several months at an animal sanctuary for horses, where I looked after the animals and did all the necessary work.
When I'm not travelling or working, I pursue my hobbies: reading, writing, sports (e.g. yoga, fitness, swimming, cycling), listening to music, and going to concerts.
I eat a purely vegetarian/vegan diet and only buy organically grown food. I also try to keep my footprint as small as possible and not harm the environment through my (consumer) behaviour. It is important to me to live in harmony with nature, animals and plants, as far as this is possible in the city.
Here at WorkAway, I am looking for like-minded alternative people who think similarly to me. In addition to my native language, German, I speak English and Italian at an intermediate level (B1-B2) and would like to expand my knowledge. Therefore, I would prefer not to speak German abroad if possible! :-)
It would be great if I could find opportunities to exchange ideas with other people in this way.
So, maybe we'll see each other soon!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked twice on organic farms as a woofer, helping with animal care and gardening. Thanks to my profession, I have some technical understanding and am also good with my hands.

Ho già lavorato due volte in fattorie biologiche come woofer, aiutando nella cura degli animali e nel giardinaggio. Grazie alla mia professione ho alcune conoscenze tecniche e sono anche brava nei lavori manuali.
