Hellooo🌞
We are Bernadette and Verena, 21 and 20 years old and a lesbian couple for more than 3 years now :)
We‘ve known each other since kindergarten because we grew up in the same village in Bavaria (Germany) and also our moms are best friends.
Last year we did some volunteering in Europe but via Worldpackers and we loved it!
We are both vegan for 6 years and almost all the volunteering we did were at vegan places.
Right now we‘re traveling New Zealand with our Toyota hiace campervan & would love to connect with like minded people! As well as helping animals or doing other volunteering work.
Traveling New Zealand makes us incredibly happy and we enjoy the beautiful nature so much but at the same time it hurts us to see all the dairy farms, the sheep etc.

We both think it‘s so cool to learn new languages and before we did learn some French but sadly we forgot almost everything due to not really speaking it again after staying in France. In Luxembourg we taught German to two kids of a family we stayed with and we loved it! Since we're planning on going to South America next year we would love to learn some Spanish!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We‘ve gained a lot of experience in looking after lots of different animals including cats, dogs, chicken, ducks, donkeys, sheep, turkeys, … We also loved doing gardening and we love to cook and are always happy to learn new recipes. We also cleaned Airbnbs and lived with families so we know about cleaning and housekeeping as well as taking care of children. Other than that, we enjoy working outside and have some repairing skills etc.
Before traveling we both did our A-Levels and Bernadette already worked in a bakery, an organic supermarket and did 6 months of internship in a kindergarten and also 6 months in an retirement home (since she did her A-Levels on a social-focused track). Verena did work at different supermarkets, in hospitality and on a farmers market. If we don’t know how to do something we‘re always keen on learning new skills!
We‘re both fluent in English and German.
