Hi!

My name is Berber, I am a 22 year old Dutch student who is taking a break from the books in order to travel around and get some more practical experiences. I specifically would love to learn more about sustainable building and self-sufficient living (my dream is to build my own (tiny) home some day). After my travels I would like to study environmental justice and circular economy, and I hope to get inspired by the projects and people I meet along the way. While I can be an engaging and energetic member in a group, I don't mind spending time alone every once in a while. I plan to travel from October (2023) to July (2024) and I am very flexible in terms of location and time spent on a project.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have just finished my bachelor in International Studies in the Netherlands (which was as vague as it sounds, but still very interesting). During my study I worked as a waitress in a restaurant most of the time (taking orders and making the drinks). I briefly worked in an Ice cream shop where I opened and closed the shop each day. I also have experience tutoring kids (6-10 yo), and I briefly taught a math class at a Dutch high school (to 16 yo). In my free time I like to embark on all sorts of projects (like painting murals or sewing a dress) and I am always happy to try out something new.
