Hi!
I'm Audrey, nice to meet you :) I can't belive i'm in the Workaway community now! It's one of my dream for a long time now. I wanted to wait for the right moment.
I finished my studies in commerce and intercultural relations just 2 months ago, so now all the opportunities are open to me. It could be a bit scary but it is also very exciting!
Instead of finding a job and settle down, I decided to take one year or more to realize one of the biggest project/dream I have in mind since my high school years : to travel around the world and discover other cultures!
I do love adventure, to meet people and get to know them :) I like challenge and already left a few times France to leave abroad (in the Netherlands and Chile), even without speaking the language (it was the case with Spanish)! Now I'm speaking French, English and Spanish (not perfect but I can have more than conversations !).
For the first part of my trip, I chose to discover Guatemala, first because it is a region of the world that I never explored and I would like to speak Spanish again! But mostly because I want to leave an experience I've never tried before and Workaway is the perfect place for that! I want to LIVE in the country, with Guatemalan people to learn about the way of living and traditions.

as I told a bit earlier, i think learn a language is one of the things I like the most! I find it so exciting and stimulating! It opens a whole new world to you and you have the feeling you can really discover people thanks to this capability. I learnt English since i'm a kid in a priviledged way as I have family in England. I often went there for holidays, and had to learn Engnish to be able to communicate with my cousines, aunt and godmother! About Spanish, I learnt it last year when I lived in Chile for a few months! I always learnt only English and German at school so the beginning wasn't easy! But now, even if it's not perfect, I feel confortable with the language and can communicate with people! I would be pleased to shared a bit of this passion with kids for example :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First, my only objective going to Guatemala is to learn new things, live an unique experience within the country and help in any way I can! I don't want to talk about my professional skills or about what I learnt during my studies because for me that's far to be the most important in a person.
I like to teach things and I usually explain quite well things when I teach something. I also love to speak other languages, I find it very stimulating and important!
I am also a very positive person, very joyful. That's what people say about me in general :)
I am sporty and like to spend time outdoors and discover nature.
I love to dance as well! For me it is also a great way to transmit things and forge links. I can dance bachata, a bit of salsa, rock'n'roll and a few others :)
I am a spontaneous person and like to share moments with people, I am easygoing with everyone in general when I'm feeling confident :)

I don't know a lot but I like to play and discover new board games! i also like playing card games :)
I do like music very much and am very open to discoveries as well!
I love outdoor sports and activities like hiking, climbing or running. it enables to reach the best feeling in the world :)
Otherwise, I don't have that much to add after everything I said before!
