My name is Armel Bonsergent
I'm a 40yo French guy, single without children.
My first workaway experience as workawayer was 10 years ago and I now decided to make the rest of my life a journey all around the world.
I wanna discover the beauty of Nature, the spiritualities, ways of life and philosophies of peoples, techniques, knowledge, technologies and ideas to live more in harmony with the nature & the wisdom of ancient civilisations.

After seeing more of Europe (11/2025 - 05/2026) : Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia... - I want to fly to South America for a few years, working and beeing a volunteer when I can't find a paid work.
Peru is my main and probably first goal, but I would like to see all Latin America.

DIPLOMAS & EXPERIENCES :

I'm a qualified Stone Mason with 7 years experience in different kinds of buildings & renovations.
I'm a qualified French Cook with 3 years experience 5 years in all other gathering kind of works.
I'm also a qualified French Teacher ad a foreign language with 6 month experience and I also have a diploma in Thaï Massage ;)
I have 5 years of experience in working the land, gardening & market gardening, viticulture, orchards, and willing to learn more about permaculture and all ecological ways.

WORKAWAY

I've been workaway host for over 5 years with two buildings projects : one with my family and one with friends. We received around 50 people from more than 20 countries and I liked it so much !

SKILLS

Writing :
3 years ago, I created my own business as a Writer & Copywriter.
I wrote 5 projects all related to sustainability with real ecological impact. Four of them were also related to the Blockchain powerful solutions.

Masonry, Paintings, Tiling, Plastering...
As a stone mason for old building, I mainly worked at renovation projects in France. I think I got enought skills, knowledge and experience to build a complete house using almost only ecological materials one day.
I love learning, using and teaching old methods with local material and homemade techniques.
I want to learn all differents techniques for anyone to build his own home just with what can be found on place.
We can build a house with anything we got, from dust, sand, earth or mud to plastic, glas, wood, stone or metal !

Cooking :
French Cook, I know most of techniques and a lot of recipes, so I think I'm able to prepare nice meals with whatever ingredients I can have. Indeed, not looking to volunteer as a cook in restaurants, looking only for paid places and prefer cooking a few dishes of high quality or learning recipies, than just making people eat.

French or English Teacher :
I worked really few as French Teacher as a Foreign Language after I was graduated, because I only found works with no willing students forced to learn french in order to receive social-money :/
I hope it will become a pleasure to teach foreigners in their own country :)
I was already asked to teach English while being on travels and even if I'm not qualified my skills can help.

I worked a lot as seasonal and temporary employee in many different sectors.


WAY OF LIFE

Wanna be a real backpacker now, no home, no... no more stuff that I can bring with me, the stars as my toit

I'm an easy-going and open minded person, I believe in respect, exchange, adventure, good times, learning, gratitude..

I am interested in nature, culture, ecology, history, monuments, arts, trips, sports, outings, parties...
I'm also interested in learning more eco lifestyle, languages, building skills, sustainable development and all working skills.

I love going outside walking, picking-up mushrooms (or any other things I can eat 😂) running or cycling, discovering landscapes and animals.

taking pictures, reading and writing, listening to music, watching movies and series, drawing and pyrography..
I also love sports, more like nature, whitewater, moutain or extreme sports - the most extreme the better - I have got climbing complete material for 2 persons.
I'm looking to share my taste to that world : experiences, ways of living,building, food, cultures, languages, sports, philosophies... with people from different backgrounds all around the world !

I love animals, already worked a bit in farms, I have had a dog, everytime having cats and I want to learn how to take care of different other kind of animals.

I love to spend time with people, to discuss on evenings, play any kind of card or board games.

However, if I am to be alone for evenings, I easily spend time with myself, reading, watching documentaries or mangas, making researches and preparing my travels.
