Description

We are two young girls from Denmark, who are looking to experience and explore Australia in our gap year!
We met at boarding school and have been close ever since, so travelling together feels completely natural for us.
Therefore, we are looking forward to travel together, meet new people and learn new things.
We are both enthusiastic, responsible ,positive and aren't afraid to get our hands dirty.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We’re both practical, responsible and eager to learn, and we enjoy helping out with many different kinds of tasks. Through our individual work and everyday life we’ve gained a range of skills that make us adaptable and easy to host.

Røskva: I have experience working in a hardware store for 2.5 years, where I have developed knowledge about different projects and hands‑on work. I also do a lot of voluntary work for my school, where I help show new students around, organise social events and assist with practical tasks. Lastly, I have a C2 level Cambridge English certificate, so communication will not be a problem.

Anna: I’m used to taking initiative and handling responsibility in different situations. I have experience with childcare, as well as practical tasks such as cleaning, organising and helping at events where I was the face of the arrangements. I enjoy keeping things running smoothly, stepping in where needed and making sure tasks are done properly. I’m reliable, structured and not afraid of getting involved in new types of work.

We are both active scouts, where we have worked on setting up camps, organising trips, helping and playing with kids, and generally being creative. We have also worked together at different events as servers. Most importantly, we’re motivated by learning new things and contributing positively to the places we stay.

On our travels, we are very interested in becoming part of a family or community. We want to experience Australian culture up close and get a real sense of everyday life, not just what you see as a tourist.
