Hi! We’re Anna and Jessi, 19 and 20 years old, from Germany😊

We’re currently in New Zealand on Working Holiday Visas and really excited to meet new people. We’d love to get to know amazing hosts and experience New Zealand from a local perspective.

We both finished our German Abitur (University entrance qualification) this year and decided to take a gap year to travel.

We’re open to all kinds of work and always happy to help wherever we’re needed. We’re not afraid of hard work and are always willing to get stuck in and give our best. Anna and I take our responsibilities seriously and are always eager to learn new skills and try something new!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Anna and I have experience with children and really enjoy spending time with them.
Anna has experience babysitting, and I worked as a counselor in a holiday camp in July.
My tasks were supervising children, organising and running activities, helping with the daily programme and spending time with children.
We’re both comfortable around children and really enjoy working with them.


We both love spending time outdoors, especially in nature, and enjoy activities like hiking, camping and canoeing. We’re also comfortable with changing weather conditions and don’t mind getting cold or rainy when working outside.

Anna completed an internship at a garden centre, where she gained practical experience with various gardening tasks. Her responsibilities included painting wooden structures, potting flowers, preparing garden beds, and planting different types of plants.

Last year, I went on a backpacking trip through Norway, where I learned more about nature and useful outdoor skills, such as making fires, chopping wood, and navigating with a map.


Anna is the more creative one of us and enjoys activities like crocheting, sewing, crafting, drawing and painting. She loves trying new creative things, is patient and enjoys paying attention to the little details.


We both absolutely love animals and have experience caring for a variety of them. We both grew up with cats and also have experience with dogs.
I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs and turtles.
As teenagers, we both went horse riding for several years, so we also have experience with horses.
The wellbeing of animals is very important to us, and we genuinely enjoy spending time with them and taking care of them.


We also worked part-time at a supermarket alongside school, mainly in the warehouse. The job involved a lot of physical work, including unloading deliveries, moving and lifting heavy boxes, organising stock, and keeping everything in order. We were used to being on our feet for long periods, so physical and demanding work is nothing unusual for us. We’re both hardworking and happy to get stuck into hands-on tasks.


Both of us very comfortable with everyday household tasks and are happy to help keep things clean and tidy.
Cooking and baking are also things we really enjoy, especially Anna, who loves trying out new recipes and preparing meals for others.



Overall, we’re really happy and motivated to help with all kinds of tasks. We’re reliable, responsible, and always eager to learn new skills and try something new!😊
