Description

Hello,
I'm Anna and I come from Budapest, Hungary. I joined Workaway in 2021 because I wanted to learn about new things and meet cool people while travelling, and my first farmstay made me sure that I want to have many more similar experiences. :)

I recently finished my university studies with a major in tourism and hospitality. For my uni degree, I spent a 3-month internship at an organic farm&agriturismo in Italy with Workaway, and while being there, I finished my thesis on sustainable gastronomy and the connection between agriculture and tourism. I started to be very interested in this kind of rural tourism, and my main goal is to learn more about it, including organic farming, leading an agriturismo, cooking with local products and finding sustainable solutions.

I love meeting new people, getting to know other cultures and learning languages. I speak English and German fluently and Italian on a conversational level, and I am interested in improving all of my language skills. I am an outdoorsy person who loves hiking and being close to nature. I am enthusiastic about good food and coffee, cooking&baking, and surrounding myself with friendly and open-minded people. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a motivated and hard-working person, and I learn very quickly when I'm enthusiastic about something.
In Budapest I worked in different restaurants as a waitress, barista and in the kitchen as well.
At my previous Workaway I spent 6 months on an organic farm&agriturismo in the Appennin hills, where I helped with all kinds of farm work, making jams, preserves and other products, selling them at the local farmer's market, helping out in the agriturismo and with cooking for the guests.
