Hello, my name is Anna and I am from Berlin, Germany.
Over the past years I poured a lot of my time and energy into my medicine studies, wich I just recently finished. Now for the first time I have a bit of free time on my hands and would really love to get out of Germany for a while, cultivate meeting new people, hearing and telling stories and am eager to learn new skills, as well as about a new culture and language. All while I am trying to figure out, what kind of life I can imagine myself living and which steps to take next in my life.;)
A few things about me:
I do really love animals (all of them, I myself live with two cats), being outdoors and being active is very important for me too - I love biking, running, hiking and trying out new sports. After a lot of time spent in front of books and my laptop I am also longing to reconnect with nature.
Another passion of mine has always been art history and art (as recipient and creator) wich left me fascinated by Italy for a long time. I feel that the rich culture and density of art is truly one of a kind. That is one of the reasons why I traveled to Italy multiple times over the past years to visit museums and explore some of the bigger cities, but I never really had the time and possibilities to build a deeper connection to land and people. I also adore the Italian language (not to mention la cucina italiana) and have started various attempts to learn it over the past years.
In total I came to the conclusion to "just do it" and take some time to stay in Italy for a while, to try and get to know culture, people and language more deeply. I am excited to explore new places off the beaten tourist tracks, different ways of life. I am eager to learn and willing to help wherever I can.

I would absolutely love to improve my Italian and French. In return I can provide conversations in German (my native language) and English (somewhat fluent - learning it since first grade). Although I do not have any teaching experience, I would love to help out if I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have my own place for 7 years now, so I have household and cleaning skill. I also have basic cooking/baking skills, as I cook for myself almost everyday, but love to keep it simple and healthy.
I grew up with a sister, who is 6 years younger than me and also have a fair share of cousins and friends with kids, so I have some experience in that area.
I really love animals and am glad, we always had a lots of pets growing up: chicken, cats, fish and rabbits. I am also sitting my grandmas dog from time to time.
In addition I would consider myself quite creative, I am fond of decorating spaces, creating outfits, drawing and playing the harp.
I do not have a lot of experience with craftwork and gardening, but am open and motivated to learn new skills.
