Hi all!
I am Lili, a 28 year old French woman, in love with the beautiful experiences one can find along the way - both at home and while travelling. I have been living in various countries for the past few years, learning to travel slowly and sustainably (long train rides are my absolute favourite).

My academic background is in cultural anthropology, with a specific focus on climate change.
I can find joy in all kinds of little things; the way the sun reflects on one's hair, smelling herbal teas, the warmth of a towel after taking a cold shower, the first few minutes of a fire in a stove (miracle!)... I aim to keep an open mind and an open heart, sharing stories and precious moments.

I was lucky enough to live in China, work as a teacher in Istanbul or Moscow, enjoy the midnight sun during Finnish summer, live with (crazy) oligarchs, volunteer with displaced people or work on organic farms... And I am always looking for the next adventure!

I would be delighted to help you with any task you require. I am a fast learner, and a motivated individual. I smile in most situations, and I truly care about the people around me. I hope to meet you soon!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Workaway has been a wonderful way to learn and grow. Through this platform I have been lucky enough to spend 4 months learning about organic farming and sheep-caring in the Norwegian fjords, stay on a farm in Poland, work with rescued animals, be part of a sustainable building project for 3 months in rural Germany, or even work with displaced people in the Balkans and in Calais. I am always happy to learn more from the people I share a daily life with!

I love cooking meals from whatever leftovers you have in the fridge, love to listen to other people intently, can lead interviews and collect ethnographic data for your various projects, I can write short stories, love spending hours weedpicking and planting, am passionate about anything related to sustainability, I learn languages quickly and can work well in busy/social places, always with a smile! + I like leaving small notes and start little games around the place I live
