Hi, I'm Sam, I'm 42, married and live in Essex, England. I am a passionate vegan with 3 dogs and myself and my husband own a restaurant. I first went backpacking when I was 17 when I stayed on a kibbutz for 5 months. It was the best time of my life and since then I have backpacked with my husband through India, Vietnam, America and many other countries. I enjoy the outdoors and physical work especially with animals or tending a garden. I love meeting new people and gaining new experiences. I also enjoy acting and have my own production company which makes short horror films!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have many years of experience working in a kitchen and waitrssing environment but also I have had many jobs with a wide range of skills required! I have been a cleaner, a dancer, a secretary and an apple picker! I pick up new skills pretty easily and have a basic knowledge in sewing, gardening, general DIY. I have looked after children, animals and the elderly. I have been a volunteer at a veterinary practice and have also got a degree in Animal Management. I'm ready to face all new challenges!

I am very keen to experince new things and am always attempting to teach myself new skills and take on projects - such as learning guitar, turning my garden into an allotment, taking sewing classes etc. I am a member of my local theatre company which performs plays and shows regularly, I also started a bookclub a few years ago plus a running club and a sewing club - I'm a bit of a "jack of all trades" and am quick to learn. I love to socialise and meet new people but I'm also content to work alone and keep myself company!
