Hi! I’m Desi, I’m 20 years old and I’m from Italy. I graduated in tourism and I’m really excited to explore new places and discover the world!

What motivates me the most is getting to know new cultures, visiting different countries, meeting people from all over the world, and learning new things that help me grow and open my mind.

I’m a supportive and positive person, always happy to help others with their projects and goals. I love sharing experiences and knowledge, and at the same time learning from the people I meet along the way.

I already had a Workaway experience in Greece, where I spent two weeks as a babysitter. It was a beautiful and meaningful experience for me — I really enjoyed taking care of the kids, bonding with them, and becoming part of the family.

I really enjoy connecting with new people and building meaningful friendships that can last even beyond the experience.

I absolutely love animals 😍 and I’m very comfortable taking care of them. I also enjoy spending time with kids — I’m playful, energetic and always ready to have fun!

In my free time, I love exploring cities, nature, and discovering new environments. I’m curious, adaptable and always ready for new adventures!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated in Tourism and developed strong language skills in English and Spanish. My first professional experience was working as an animator at children’s parties, where I organized games, led activities, and managed creative projects involving art and decorations.
I have also gained experience working directly with the public in a jewelry store. In this role, I was responsible not only for customer service but also for managing social media and creating graphic content.
Since I was a child, I have always lived with animals, which has helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, empathy, and care. I also practiced horse riding for a period of time.
My key skills include strong communication, the ability to interact effectively with both children and adults, creativity, and problem-solving.

I like taking walks in nature and spending time with friends. I also enjoy going on adventures and I’m always open to trying new sports and experiences. I often visit museums and attend festivals.
I enjoy reading, listening to all kinds of music, and watching documentaries. In my free time, I like playing games such as Taboo and Monopoly, as well as traditional Italian card games like Scopa, Briscola, Scala 40, and Rubamazzetto.
Finally, I have a strong interest in sports, especially volleyball.
