My name is Amelie and I am from Leipzig, Germany.
I am 20 years of age and what unites all of my hobbies and interests is creativity. I love to sing, dance, draw, cook, act and simply create with what’s there.
I completed my vocational diploma in design in 2022 and then studied media design for a year. I then worked in a café for six months and started training as a musical theatre performer in September to broaden my horizons a little. Unfortunately, I haven't yet found what I want to do later in life in this apprenticeship. That's why I want to use this year to get out of my comfort zone and be away from home. I think that life is the best school and that I can find out what profession I would like to pursue later on through a wide variety of experiences.
I am a reliable, independent and hardworking person.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am communicative and very openminded person. I would consider myself polite, kind and a quick learner. I love to build, draw, paint. I love interior design, design and creativity in general. I like crafting, creating and working with my hands and to just have fun while doing so. I also have a very outgoing and loud (in a positive way ;) ) side that loves being on stage and acting, dancing and singing. I don't have one favorite thing that I do, but I have a variety of interests and hobbies that I love to pursue.
In groups, I am usually the person who takes the lead, manages the projects, allocates tasks and proposes a strategy so I would also consider myself an independent worker who organizes herself.
I have a bigger sister and am definitely a family person who enjoys spending time with her loved ones.

I would just love to get out of my hometown and explore the world. The cultural exchange that naturally comes with workaway is something I really am looking forward to.
