Hello! My name is Amelia and I am from the Northwest Territories in Canada. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and am now looking to travel for a few months, meet new people, and experience life in different cultures.

In 2023, I completed a semester abroad in Scotland and had the most incredible experience traveling with new friends and connecting with people from all over the world.

I’ve worked with children (particularly those with special needs) as well as in transportation and general office environments. I’m also very comfortable using power tools and enjoy hands-on work. Whether it’s building something or helping out wherever needed, I love staying busy and learning new skills.

Back home, I have three wonderful dogs and love caring for animals. I'm open-minded, hardworking, and always up for trying something new. My goal while traveling is to immerse myself in new cultures, make meaningful connections, and be genuinely helpful along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve picked up a pretty wide range of skills over the years and love jumping into new things. I have experience working with kids, especially those with special needs, and really enjoy one-on-one time where I can be patient, playful, and supportive.

I’m also relativly handy. I’ve used power tools for different projects, built furniture, and just generally love working with my hands. I’m forklift certified too, and not afraid to get dirty if the job calls for it!

I’ve worked in transportation and office settings, so I’m used to staying organized, dealing with schedules, and keeping things running smoothly. I also have a university degree in sociology, which has helped me become a better communicator and understand different perspectives, something that’s come in handy while traveling and working with all kinds of people.

On top of that, I’m a huge animal lover. I have three dogs and a cat at home and lots of experience caring for pets. I'm happy to help out with feeding, cleaning, walking —whatever they need.

I’m adaptable, easygoing, and like to stay busy, so I’m always happy to help wherever I’m needed!
