Description

Hi! My name is Ambra and I’m a third-year medical student from Italy.
I would love to have a Workaway experience because I want to challenge myself, improve my English and grow as a person by discovering new places, cultures and ways of living.

I’m a very patient, friendly and sociable person. I enjoy meeting new people, helping others and learning from different experiences. Even if sometimes I can be a little shy at first, I become comfortable quickly and I genuinely like creating connections with people.

Studying medicine has taught me to be responsible, determined and adaptable, especially in stressful situations. During this experience, I hope to learn new practical skills, improve my communication and become more independent and confident.

In my free time I enjoy music, travelling, spending time outdoors and staying active. Recently I’ve also been trying to improve myself physically and mentally through sports and new experiences.

For me, travelling is not only about visiting places, but also about personal growth and stepping outside my comfort zone. This is exactly why I’m excited about starting this adventure.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked for two years as a waitress in a brewery/restaurant, so I really enjoy being in contact with people and working in a team. I’m a patient, friendly and cheerful person, even if I can be a little shy at first.

I love animals, especially horses, and I really enjoy spending time in nature and outdoors. I also have three sisters and a dog, so I’m used to lively environments and being around others.

I love trying new food and discovering different cultures through cuisine. I also enjoy baking desserts in my free time.

I’m always open to learning new things, meeting new people and challenging myself through new experiences.

Something else about me: I absolutely love being active! Growing up, I explored many different sports, including artistic gymnastics, roller skating, horseback riding, and hip hop dancing.
Currently, I am a Medical student, which keeps me quite busy. Because of my studies, I don't always have the time to commit to a professional sports club, but I never stop moving! In my free time, I love going for a run outdoors or working out at home. I have plenty of energy and I’m always ready to lend a hand with any physical tasks or outdoor activities!
