Alma: I am a 21-year-old girl from Copenhagen, Denmark.
I am a creative soul who loves music, arts, and basics like knitting. I love being in nature and around animals and people. I am driven by teamwork, and I love hanging out with family and friends, but I also really enjoy my own company at times. I am traveling with my boyfriend Oscar, and that makes me happy:-)
I've been working at a school for the past few years and have learned a lot about others and myself, and would like to keep exploring new ways. I am really interested in culture and local communities around the world, so this is a great opportunity for me to learn and develop 🍀

Oscar: I am a 22-year-old boy also from Copenhagen Denmark.
I am a very easygoing and happy person, who loves being outside in nature and care a lot for animals of all sorts and kinds.
I am a sporty person who is in love with skiing and playing football/soccer.
In my day-to-day life, I try to spend the most time possible, with friends and family doing activities and relaxing.

Learning new crafts and trying new things, are some of the most rewarding things for me

I would like to look at myself as very open-minded with a huge interest in understanding other cultures.
I love traveling!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Oscar:
I graduated from High school 2,5 years ago studying English and Social Science.
before, under, and after high school I have had the most experience working in different kitchens, and I also had a spell in the Danish army.
these experiences made me good at working in a team, under different circumstances.

I started my work at Domino Pizza, where I after 3 years became the store manager.
this gave me the experience of managing employees and running a store.

After I worked in kitchens mostly in France, with more of the focus going on every plate, while working alongside professional chefs. Who is determined to perfect every given product.

My time in the Danish army taught me to keep calm when under pressure physically and mentally. As well as doing a first aid course.


I am a quick and hungry learner, who is always up for a challenge.
I am easygoing around other people and I am used to working determined, even when it gets tough.
I am quick adapting which makes me an asset working in teams, as well as working alone.

Alma:
I also graduated from highschool 2,5 years ago, studying the same at Oscar but in a different school. I spend those years traveling on Interrail, doing a ski-season and just seeing new places, as this is something I really love. This was also how I fell in love with Canada!🇨🇦

When I wasn't traveling i have been working at a school as a teacher and a substitute. This has really given me a new perspective on life, and i have learned so much about not just the different subjects I was teaching, but also about what it is like to be a decent human being with an open mind to all kinds of people.

I have also worked a long time in restauration, and I have a great passion for food🤩 I love to cook seasonal food, and experimenting with new flavors and foods from different parts of the world!

For skills, I would like to believe that I'm a handy-woman. I like to do stuff myself and I always go for the best solution to the task. I love to help family and friends with their houses/apartments, and have helped with everything from painting a house inside and out, including some of the furniture😄, to carrying a fridge up 5 storys stairs. I would say that I'm the opposite of a quitter, and I tend to be a bit stubborn if things doesn't work out the first time.
