Hi there!
I’m Miruna, a 20-year-old student and creative from Romania, currently interrailing through Europe with my younger brother (18). We’re both easygoing, respectful, and love meeting new people from all walks of life.

We joined Workaway because we want to experience each country more meaningfully — not just as tourists but by contributing to the places we visit. Whether it’s helping in a hostel, assisting with daily tasks, or learning something new, we’re excited to be part of it.

I am studying game design and love anything creative — drawing, writing, journaling, music, I’m also into health and fitness, simple cooking, and being outside in nature. My brother is going to start his music development course in September, and is more quiet but very helpful and hard-working, especially with manual or repetitive tasks. We make a good team!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m naturally tidy and enjoy keeping things clean and organised. I’ve had plenty of experience with daily chores — from washing dishes to mopping, changing bedsheets, and doing laundry. I don’t mind repetitive cleaning work and I always try to respect shared spaces, whether it’s a home, hostel, or communal area.

I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals — especially ones that are quick, affordable, and high in protein (great for active or busy people). I’m happy to cook for others or help with meal prep. I can follow recipes, use ingredients creatively, and I’m used to shopping for groceries on a budget. If needed, I can also help plan easy weekly meals or assist in kitchen-related tasks like chopping, serving, or cleaning.

In general, I’m always happy to help with day-to-day house tasks like tidying, organising cupboards, making beds, watering plants, or pet care. I learn routines quickly and take instructions seriously — I want to make things easier, not harder. If you show me once, I can do it confidently from then on.

I’ve studied creative design and storytelling, so I understand how to communicate ideas visually and clearly. I can help with social media tasks like photography, writing captions, making short videos, or updating profiles. If you run a hostel, business, or community project and want fresh content or support online, I’d be happy to assist.

Creativity is a big part of who I am — I love drawing, journaling, and designing ideas. I’ve worked on game and storytelling projects during my university studies and often use visual expression to communicate or relax. If you have any art-based projects, decorating ideas, or want help with creative tasks (murals, posters, signs), I’d be excited to help.

I’m a fast and flexible learner. If you need help with something I haven’t listed, I’m very open to giving it a go and learning on the spot. I take feedback seriously and really care about doing a good job — even if it’s something completely new. I see every task as an opportunity to grow and contribute.
