Hi there, hola! I'm a 27 year old social worker from Canada. I have been traveling and working around the world since July 2024 and I hope to keep being so lucky for many years to come. I'm currently in Colombia, looking to slowly discover the country, try new things and of course improve my Spanish!

I've done a few workaways before:
- Aupair in England, 6 months in 2018.
- Hospitality in Canada, 3 months in 2020.
- Hospitality in Slovenia, 1 month in 2024.
- Aupair in Spain, 6 months in 2024-2025.
- Hospitality in France, 3 months in 2025.

Back in Canada, I work as a social worker with homeless people. I've also worked as a waitress, as a bartender and as a barista.

I have a lot of initiative, I'm patient, very curious, I like working in a team but can also be very independent. I believe in the power of a warm welcome and I love working with people, both children and adults. My other interests include reading, cooking, language learning, rock climbing, running, hiking, camping and being outside and active as much as possible!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied political science and sociology as well as social work, with a particular interest in immigration and homelessness.

I'm fluent in both French and English and I'm currently learning Spanish.

I've worked in customer service and hospitality for many years, first at a pharmacy, then as a waitress, as a barista and as a bartender. I also have a lot of experience taking care of children since I've been an aupair twice and I'm a proud auntie!

As a social worker, I have skills in crisis handling, problem solving, communication and relationship building.

I'm also a pretty good cook! Finally, traveling alone on a budget for a long time has taught me to be resourceful and to find comfort out of my comfort zone!
