Description

I am a 19 year old active traveller taking at least 1 year out of education to explore South America whilst trying new foods and immersing myself in culture as best as I can.
Motivating me to travel is my love for food, music and learning Spanish. There is a lot that brings me happiness and to be honest not a lot can dampen my mood, whilst i’m travelling i feel alive and at my happiest always. Meeting new people, learning new skills, cooking, physical activities such as hiking, sports and working at my allotment (at home in England) are some of my favourite hobbies.
I am not scared of getting my hands dirty and do not require much to keep me happy (fruit, a bed and good company is all I need). I am able to pick a lot of skills up quickly having spent time gardening since a young age as well as volunteering in England at my local nature reserve and planting, harvesting and constructing at my allotment.

One of the reasons I travelled to South America was to help learn Spanish and since arriving and travelling I feel my Spanish has improved immensely but is far from perfect so I am very interested in trying to strengthen my language particularly grammar-wise.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I aspire to fulfil the saying “Jack of all trades, master of none” I find much more value at grasping the basics of a wide variety of skills then focusing in on one especially when there is so much to experience in the world.
The skills I would attribute to myself would be:
• Fast learner
• Physically able and fit
• Self motivated
• Knowledge of working with animals and gardening
It’s important to say although I think these are some of my stronger areas I am always looking to improve and learn more in each of these fields.
For my education I just completed my maths, economics and geography A-levels (achieving A*AA grades) I am going on to do an economics degree at university when I return to England.

I am open to learning new games, sports, activities, skills and anything you have to offer. I play a small amount of chess (although am very bad) enjoy all sports as I have played tennis, football, badminton, rugby, netball, basketball, running, skiing, swimming to name a few of my favourites. I am looking to really engross myself into authentic culture including local food, music, dancing and language!
