Hello my name is Aleksandra and last month I have decided to leave my professional career behind and fulfill my dream about going to Costa Rica to try my hand in volunteer work. I have been volunteering since being a teenager and I would love to get back to this. I enjoy being surrounded by the nature and and observe it's natural cycle. I would love to learn more about farming and living in a harmony with nature. And what brings me happines? For sure animals (I am a dog person), kindness and freedom.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been working as a project manager for the last 3 years so I can say that I am well organized person:) During my studies I have been also working as a waitress and receptionist so this kind of work is not new to me.
For one month I have been volunteering in Croatia helping with dry stone wall reconstruction at the archeological site and thanks to this I gained knowledge about working with cement;)
In general I like physical work because of visible results.

For me travelling is not only about places but mostly about the people I meet on my way. That's why I decided to join Workaway community and try different lifestyle than big city life.
I am a fan of non-fiction books and Spanish cinematography. I do my best to spend as much time as I can walking, hiking and going for a bike rides. Few months ago I discovered surfing which became my new skill to improve right after Spanish :)
