Dear all,

My name is Adela, a very independent, active, trustworthy and naturally energetic individual.

For the past year, I have been training a lot to get better at running trails, completing 4 half mountain marathons in 2025, and my first mountain stages marathon this year in February 2026. I love travelling to places surrounded by mountains, animals, lots of nature and good-hearted people, and explore the surrounding the way I know and enjoy the most: running! I can also introduce you to running if sports are your thing! I absolutely fell in love with trail running at the end of 2024, and you can do too!

Since January 2026, I´ve been working remotely for a spanish company as a maintenance manager, on a self-emplyed basis. This means I choose my own schedule, sometimes work a bit during the weekends, and always make the most out of sunny days as I can also do some work during the nights ;). This working situation has allowed me to go back to travelling and exploring, meeting new people and cultures, learning and keeping an active life I very much enjoy.

I am a nature enthusiast and enjoy learning about all animals, people´s culture and values. I like learning about different and sustainable lifestyles, and learn new skills!

I am confident that I would add a lot to your life projects! I can learn everything to help you out and help bring your projects to the real sphere. I am not only kind, patient, mentally and physically active, fun, patient, loving, full of life and energetic...but also a quick learner and I am always willing to help you out like no other - with a great sense of responsibility, integrity, and a genuine desire to have a positive impact. I am a great team player also (love connecting with other volunteers too) and I am always looking for ways to make the experience better and more enriching for everyone.

I have two flats of my own in Spain, and two lovely cats, so I know very well how to care for animals, keep the home clean and organized, carry out DIY projects, and so much more!

I also volunteer at a dogs shelter in Asturias, Spain, regularly (I LOVE dogs!!!), but cannot have of my own as I live in a flat and travel regularly.

* I am genuinely fun, smart, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and highly polite and considered individual.
* I respect privacy and I am also a very good listener.
* I have done various DIY projects by myself, both during workaways and at my own home, and every time I learn a new skill, I feel accomplished (painting, installing floors, assembling furniture, windows, and so much more).
* Learning, growing, exploring and also serving other are priorities in my life.

Croatia 28th april-3rd may (running a trail marathon and exploring a croatian island)
Montenegro 3rd May / undefined (Workaway Project)
June - Looking for a Workaway in Greece. Any part of Greece with animals and mountains would be perfect :D

September/October/November/December 2026. Nothing planned just yet.
Open to any opportunities for those months!

I work as an Operations Assistant for an American tech company. Currently leaving this job to embark on a new adventure and volunteer. It's been a long time wanting to volunteer and travel, and my first experience of workaway was in Wales. I've had an absolute great time and met a few lovely people! I would love to repeat alike experiences.
