Hello! I'm Annie - an open-minded, compassionate, nature-loving adventurer keen to immerse myself in a new culture, speak Spanish and get my hands dirty.

Originally from Seattle, I moved to the UK to study and ended up staying for over a decade. But this year, I said goodbye to my corporate job in London to reconnect with my passions of nature, travelling and connecting with people from around the world!

I have a variety of skills from cooking to animal care to social media, but I’m particularly interested in working with my hands doing physical work such as gardening, farming, building and art projects.

Where I don’t have previous experience, I have a positive, curious attitude and willingness to learn!

While I don't have formal teaching qualifications, teaching English is a skill I'd be happy to develop. As a native English speaker who has travelled extensively and lived in both the US and the UK, I have a lot of knowledge to share! I also have a university degree in Business & Spanish, lived in Spain for a year and speak Spanish at an advanced level.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a very self-motivated, proactive person, and I’m always looking for better ways of doing things.

I love all things food - I can plan and prepare meals for the group and would love to learn about, grow and use local ingredients!

As much as possible, I want to use my hands and do physical work, especially learning skills in gardening, maintenance, construction, farming, even artworks, etc. Give me a task and I’ll jump right in!

I am also tech-savvy and have computer skills, and I can offer my admin and organization experience where needed. I am also happy to assist with photography and social media.

I also love fitness and have lifted weights, climbed mountains and run marathons in the past, so I’m happy to do any heavy-lifting to get a job done. I can also teaching fitness classes or leading group exercises.

I also have experience looking after pets and children (I have a baby niece!).

Along with working hard, I love to have a good time!

I enjoy anything in nature - running, hiking, biking, rafting, ziplining, even just sitting still. I feel very at peace spending time doing anything outdoors.

I also love live music and dancing - I’d love to get better at salsa dancing, or any other type of dancing!
