Hello! My name is Abigail and I am 18 years old. I was born and raised in Wales, UK, and am fluent in both English and Welsh.

I am a reliable, trustworthy, and creative person who takes a professional approach to many things in my life. I'm very independent, having the ability to complete work to the best standard by myself, however that does not stop me from working in a team. Respecting everyone is my personal philosophy which allows me to thrive in group settings.

In college, I studied English, art, and Welsh, pursuing my passion for the arts and languages. This fuelled my interest in working abroad to learn more about local culture and advance my language skills. I’m open-minded and always excited to meet new people and learn from different perspectives. I love connecting with others, sharing experiences, and embracing new cultures with open arms.

In the past, through working in many different positions, I have gained a wide range of skills and knowledge that is useful in any workplace. I have been a volunteer in my home country many times, most prominently in a nation-wide children's activity and learning centre for 3 years. I have experience in working with many types of people, both old and young, and have specialised ability to work with disabled children (both mental and physical disabilities).

Outside of work, I love hiking, creating art, reading, giving back to my community, and I am passionate about learning new things!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a variety of skills and experience that are useful in ay work environment. I am happy to help wherever I am needed, weather it be independent work, group tasks, one of my previous skills, or something new entirely!

Hospitality and customer service -
I have worked in retail and waitressing before, including serving food, working the till, preparing drinks and small plates, pricing items, and assisting customers. I am a very fun and approachable person, good at creating a friendly environment.

Cleaning and household tasks -
I am experienced in household help and cleaning. During my waitressing, I was responsible for closing the café, having to clean and sanitise the entire shop beforehand. During my previous volunteer work I also cleaned after the children.

Creative and practical skills -
I am passionate about creative activities like art, painting, drawing, sculpture, music, and literature. I studied art in college as well as English and Welsh literature. I'm happy to join or lead creative activities, including with children, and I enjoy practical, hands-on tasks.

Outdoor work -
I love being in nature and I am happy to complete light, outdoor tasks such as gardening and up-keeping existing gardens.

Languages -
I am fluent in two languages, English and Welsh, and I am open to learning new languages to be able to more effectively communicate in other countries.

I am comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds and I am always kind and respectful.
