We are currently in Ireland. We have been here since 4th of august and will stay beginning of may. We're looking for helping out, making friends and learn new skills. (Maybe learn a bit of gealic ^^)

Hello Hello! My name is Amelie, I am currently 19 years old. I am planning to spend about a year in Ireland. I have always been very fascinated by this wonderful country and would love to experience its landscapes and meet the people there. My friend and I would like to do this together after we have both finished school.
I am very passionate about drawing and being creative, as well as exchanging languages and ideas. I love to stay active and enjoy helping with animals and other tasks. I am a very curious and open-minded person who enjoys trying new things. People, nature, and animals bring me a lot of joy.
In terms of experience, I have worked at a gas station, at an information point at an exhibition booth, and in catering. I also went horseback riding for 2–3 years (but it's been a long time, so i might not ride as good as I used to) and helped take care of horses for about a year. Animals are also a big part of my personal life. At the moment, we have a very energetic Golden Retriever named Teddy.

Hello! My name is Emma, I'm 20 years old.
I have always loved traveling and have wanted to go to Ireland for quite some time now. I love the landscape there and would really like to see it in person. I am excited to travel with my friend and am very much looking forward to it.
I am a book-loving person and mostly read in English. I also enjoy drawing from time to time and am passionate about inline skating. I love spending time outdoors in nature ,hiking, cycling, walking, or anything else, as long as it is outside in the fresh air. If needed, I also have some experience assembling things and genuinely enjoy doing so.
I am an animal-loving person, although I do not have any pets at the moment.
Regarding my work experience so far, I cooked for a school for four weeks and also worked at a bicycle shop for a weekend.
I am open to video calls and would love the opportunity to work with you.

Amelie: I love languages a lot and love to learn new words while being surrounded by it (learning by doing). It's the most efficient way how I learn new languages. If you teach me some Irish, then I am more than interested! Please keep in mind that my Spanish is School level. So it is very bad. Emma: I love languages and would love learning new ones. I think learning new languages is most efficient when you are in the enviroment where it is spoken, and would love to learn some irish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Amelie Skillset:
I am a very patient person and highly interested in learning new things. If there is something that needs to be done, even if I do not particularly enjoy it, I will still do it (because there will definitely be tasks that nobody likes to do). I am very open and enjoy communicating with others. If something is bothering me, I usually do not stay silent.
As mentioned in my introduction, I have worked at an exhibition booth and in catering for specific events. Currently, I work at a gas station. I am very skilled at drawing and talking with customers (I simply enjoy talking). I have worked with animals on several occasions . I had guinea pigs when I was younger, and at the moment we have a four-year-old dog with a very energetic personality. As mentioned before, I have also worked a lot with horses.
I am always open to learning new things, whether in areas I already have experience in or in completely new topics. Feel free to ask me anything. I also appreciate video calls :-).

Emma: I have experience in cooking and should be able to cook anything as long as I have a recipe. I once worked in a kitchen for 4 weeks. I know how to repaire the tires of a bycicle should the have a hole. I'm ready to work even if I don't like it. I'm a very calm and open minded person. And I am a great listener. I'm always interested in new things and learning about them. I don't give up easily, but I know when to stop.
I have a pretty good endurance. I'm always ready to help if needed.

We both like board/card games like Skyjo or Uno. Maybe Emma a lot more than I do. We both love to skate and draw. I also made some Costumes in my freetime. We both have a climbing certificate ( only for top rope tho). We both love animals and nature a lot. We are not sure about wether or not our arrival and department dates will be uphold yet.
