We are looking for a house sitting, Jan - March 24…. Somewhere slightly warmer than southern Germany.

Description

Fiona is born in the UK, and lives for the last 40 yrs or so in Germany when she married Martin.
Both enjoying retirement, aber leaving their professional life as either a Nurse or Mechanical Engineer.

Ich Fiona bin in der UK geboren und wohne seit 40 Jahre in Deutschland. Ich bin seit Anfang 2023 im wohlverdienten Ruhestand und gelernter Krankenschwester.
Martin ist gelernter Maschinenbau Ing., auch im Ruhestand.

We are looking to widen our Horizon and embrace possibilities that come our way.
we both enjoy working in the Garden, Fiona really enjoys being able to plant, nourish and then eat our own produce. Martin is passionate about the value of compost & Bio char, enriching our soil .
Fiona loves to cook & discover new ways / customs of preparing food in new counties.
Sewing is very much a part of Fionas life, being creative with what is at hand.
both embrace upcycling / recycling, giving things a new life.
Martin is particularly good at solving problems, in a practical way, often improvising with what one has.
We lived in west Africa for a year, where improvisation is necessary to survive.
We enjoy being outside in the nature our Holidays are usually with our tent.
martin enjoys playing Music.
In all we are both adaptable & interested to new situations, cultures, types of work.


Seit diesem Jahr sind wir beide rüstige Rentner und freuen uns auf das was kommt. Ich, Fiona arbeite gern im Garten, es macht mir sehr viel Freude Lebensmittel selbst im Garten wachsen zu lassen und dann sie zu kochen.
Ich koche leidenschaftlich und bin immer auf der Suche nach neuen Ideen. Nähen tue ich gerne für mich und meine Familie. Von Beruf aus kann ich Kranke & Alte Pflegen.
Recycling und Upcycling sind für uns beide immer wertvolle Projekte.
Improvisation in verschiedenen Lebens Situationen hab wir gelernt, wir haben ein Jahr in West Afrika gelebt und da ist es notwendig.
Wir sind sehr gern draußen, geh hauptsächlich auf Camping Urlaub.
Ich, Martin beschäftige mich seit ein paar Jahren mit Kompostieren und die Herstellung und Verwendung von Pflanzenkohle. Über die Jahre habe ich viele handwerkliche Fähigkeiten in Haus und Garten erworben. In meinem früheren Leben habe ich als Maschinenbau Ingenieur gearbeitet. Ich liebe es Musik zu machen.
