I can always use good helpers, mainly for gardening at the moment, but I do NOT need house sitters as I am on the island. Help with my property and much more is very welcome.
Trained tradespeople are not necessary, but you should be able to recognize when something is broken. Tradespeople are available after consultation with me. WhatsApp would be convenient for communication.

I have a finca with a very large garden and pool, and I live with 7 cats—4 males and 3 females—who respond to their names and are all very friendly and affectionate. They live on the west side of the Canary Island of La Palma. Unfortunately, I only speak German, and my guests should be able to communicate well in German and write to me in German.
I would be happy to offer a fully furnished, beautiful apartment with a conservatory to one or two helpful guests (non-smokers, also on my property due to allergies). Self-catering. I am looking for friendly help with cat sitting (only when I am away), general house cleaning, garden tasks, watering, and pool cleaning. The cats are part of the family! They would be happy to spend time with them (if the cats want it), even when I am present. Cat experience would be great, and some handyman skills would be nice and very helpful. The location is Los Llanos-La Laguna; it's rural but also centrally located, about a 3-4 minute walk to the bus stop. La Palma has good bus connections overall.

Ich kann gute Helfer, im Moment hauptsächlich für Gartenarbeit, immer wieder gebrauchen jedoch KEINE Haussitter da ich auf der Insel bin. Hilfe für mein Grundstück u.v.m. ist sehr willkommen.
Ausgebildete Handwerker sind nicht nötig, aber man sollte schon erkennen können wenn etwas kaputt gegangen ist. Nach Rücksprache mit mir stehen Handwerker zur Verfügung. WhatsApp wäre günstig für die Kommunikation mit mir. (Rücksprache per WhatsApp fällt nur an wenn ich nicht auf La Palma bin)

Ich habe eine Finca mit sehr großem Garten und einem Pool und lebe mit 7 Katzen,
4 Kater, 3 Kätzinnen die ALLE auf ihre Namen hören (Tessa, Robin, Gräuli (Foto) Bärli, Bobby, Chico, Esmeralda) die alle sehr verträglich und verschmusst sind auf der Westseite der Kanareninsel La Palma.
Ich spreche im Grunde nur DEUTSCH und meine Gäste sollten sich auch in deutsch gut mit mir verständigen und mir in Deutsch schreiben können.
Ein volleingerichtetes schönes Appartement mit Wintergarten würde ich ein- bis zwei gerne zupackenden und ruhigen
Helfern (N I C H T R A U C H E R, auch auf meinem Grundstück (wegen Allergie) gerne zur Verfügung stellen.
Selbstverpflegung.
Nette Hilfe suche ich für Katzenbetreuung (nur wenn ich von La Palma ABWESEND bin), "Pflege bzw. Rund ums Haus-Reinigung", Gartenpflege , Gartenbewässerung, Poolreinigung.
Aufenthalt mindestens drei Wochen, oftmals Verlängerung möglich.
Die Katzen sind Teil der Familie! mit denen man sich gerne beschäftigen kann, (wenn die Katzen es WÜNSCHEN) gerne auch wenn ich anwesend bin. Katzenerfahrung würde ich toll finden und ein wenig handwerkliche Geschicklichkeit wäre schön und sehr hilfreich für mich.
Der Ort heißt Los Llanos-La Laguna, liegt ländlich jedoch auch zentral zur Buslinie geht man ca. 3-4 Minuten. La Palma hat gute Busverbindungen insgesamt.

La Palma, Isla Bonita or Isla Verde (the green) is called a beautiful hiking and biker island, has much natural beauty to offer. In addition, also nice nice black sand beaches. There are many cultural offers and you can learn or deepen the Spanish language.
La Palma is covered with 40% forest, was spared from mass tourism, many places on the island have retained their original character.
The year-round mild climate is determined by the Northeast Trade and the Canary Islands.
21 protected areas in nature and landscape conservation are known; 2 protected areas have been specially certified by UNESCO.
La Palma, Isla Bonita oder Isla Verde (die Grüne) genannt ist eine wunderschöne Wander- und Biker-Insel, hat viel Naturschönheit zu bieten. Zudem auch kleine nette schwarze Sandstrände. Es gibt viele Kulturangebote und man kann die spanische Sprache erlernen oder vertiefen.
La Palma ist mit 40% Wald bedeckt, blieb vom Massentourismus verschont, viele Orte der Insel haben sich ihren ursprünglichen Charakter erhalten.
Das ganzjährig milde Klima wird durch den Nordostpassat und den Kanarenstrom bestimmt.
21 Schutzgebiete in Natur- und Landschaftsschutz sind bekannt; von der UNESCO wurden 2 Schutzgebiete besonders zertifiziert.

I'm looking for reliable help with cat sitting (but only when I'm away), general housework, gardening, maintaining the beautiful garden with its large flowering shrubs and palm trees, watering the garden, and cleaning the pool. 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I will provide training.
Final cleaning of the apartment at the end of the Workaway project.
Zuverlässige Hilfe suche ich für Katzenbetreuung, (aber nur bei meiner Abwesenheit) Arbeiten "Rund ums Haus", Gartenarbeiten, Erhalt des sehr schönen Gartens mit großen blühenden Sträuchern und Palmen, Gartenbewässerung, Poolreinigung. 4 Stunden, an 5 Tagen in der Woche. Einarbeitung erfolgt durch mich.

I've lived part-time on La Palma for 28 years and need help because I've been living alone for about seven years.
My daily life largely revolves around my cats and the entire property. But I also enjoy being out and about and often go out, for example, usually for lunch... to relax after work.
La Laguna belongs to Los Llanos, the island's largest town, and is practically a suburb, only 3 km away. There's good bus service.
I've had good experiences with helpers for about six years now; I didn't need them before. I'm a quiet person who enjoys being around people but also needs quite a bit of personal space. I am looking for a nice, considerate and quiet roommate/helper, preferably two (a couple, as there is only one apartment). It would be wonderful if someone skilled in crafts who, like me, enjoys nature and the beautiful island of La Palma, and who would enjoy spending time at my finca and would be happy to help with its upkeep and maintenance.
Ich lebe seit 28 Jahren zum Teil auf La Palma und benötige Hilfe da ich seit ca. sieben Jahren alleine lebe.
Meinen Alltag bestimmen zum großen Teil die Katzen und die gesamte Grundstückanlage. Aber ich bin auch gerne unterwegs und gehe z.B. häufig außerhalb, meistens zum Mittag Essen......zur Entspannung von der Arbeit.
La Laguna gehört zu Los Llanos der "größten" Stadt der Insel, ist quasi ein Vorort mit 3km Entfernung. Gute Busanbindung.
Erfahrungen mit Helfern habe ich seit ca.6 Jahren bisher gute gemacht/früher nicht machen müssen. Ich bin eine ruhige Person, die gerne mit Menschen zusammen ist aber auch recht viel FREIHEIT für sich selbst benötigt. Ich wünsche mir eine/n netten umsichtigen und ruhigen Mitbewohner/Helfer, auch gerne ZWEI, (ein Paar, da es nur ein Appartement gibt) schön wären HANDWERKER, der/die wie ich viel Freude an Natur und der tollen Insel La Palma hat/haben und der/die es genießt/en eine Weile auf meiner Finca zu sein und die mit viel Freude und Einsatz auch gerne helfen möchten, mitzugestalten und das Vorhandene zu erhalten.
