  We're a nice italian family living in Vicenza, a small city close to Venice and Verona in the north-est of Italy. We'have never host a au pair,, but since the girls have grown up we would love to try this experience, both because we can all practice the language and for the cultural experience. We have always traveled a lot and we are curious, in the last few years we have had to change our habits to meet the needs of the girls.

  Whoever comes to our family will be able to spend a period in Vicenza, a jewel city in the north-east of Italy. Located just half an hour's drive from Venice, Verona and Padua, it is a small town waiting to be discovered. Rich in culture, charm and history, it is a nationally recognized tourist destination. Nearby there are mountains, lakes and fantastic places for hiking in the middle of nature. The au pair will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Italian culture, with a family that is available, respectful and curious to learn about a new culture.

  Aide

  I'm looking for an au pair to live with us in Vicenza (Italy), a small city, very close to Venice and Verona. The au pair should can help me manage my 4 and a half and 3 year old girls aftr the kindergarten (from 3:30-7:30 p.m.) and sometimes when we go out during the evening. She must speak English as a first language, be reliable, have some experience as a babysitter, be precise and flexible. I'd like to find someone that want to stay with us at leats 9 months, preferably 12 months.

  We live in a spacious apartment in the historic center of Vicenza. It is a small town so everything can be reached on foot or by local transport. The au pair will have her own private room and will be able to use every area of the house. We have a small dog, Ottone, who is very sweet and affectionate. We have a cool terrace where you can relax. Near our house there is a beautiful park, to be able to immerse yourself in nature. We have a varied diet (Mediterranean diet), we eat a bit of everything, from pasta to meat, vegetables, fish, fruit, pizza and occasionally we like to try cuisines of other nationalities (Japanese, Mexican, Indian).

  In her free time, the au pair can explore Vicenza or nearby cities such as Venice, Verona and Padua. The area that surrounds us is rich in culture and history. If you are a nature lover, there are several trips to take either to the nearby hills, lakes or mountains. Both my husband and I work during the week, on the weekend we like to be outdoors, spend time with friends, organize some trips out of town (to Venice, to the mountains, to the sea) to spend some time relaxing in a house we have in the hills. The girls grow up and we like to move. We don't get bored.
