    Description

The Foundation is a non-profit organization and a leader in conservation in Costa Rica. We work with people to protect our natural resources. Our conservation programs are based in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica, known as the Osa Peninsula, which is famous for its intense biodiversity and unspoiled nature. We are part of a great network trying to make this world a better place for all of us and the rest of the creatures that live with us.

Our biolodge is our environmental and education center, volunteer camp, and regenerative tourism site. It is the heart of the little town of Progreso, from which local tours and community development are happening every day. This is a place of recreation and learning for travelers, families, youth groups, and volunteers who enjoy an actual nature experience and close contact with community members.

The place is a learning center for organic fertilizers and bioinputs has its vegetable garden, water collection, and more. It also features a yoga platform overlooking the river and river access.

Our team and volunteers teach environmental education at the site, does trainings for different groups on regenerative agriculture, holistic cattle farming and languages for kids. KIds are also visit the place often for intervention lessons to helo them catch up with schools.
