  Description

  I am a 72 year old teacher/woman living on a small farm, and have a big garden, hens, a cat and a border collie.
  I live near by a small town where all kinds of interesting cultural institutions and events are available.

  Travellers will experience how it is to live at the countryside on a small farm, and how you can put the place into good order. They will also learn about the Norwegian language and Norwegian cooking.
  
  My interests are Norwegian folk dance and folk Music -and I am open to share my knowledge in this field with visitors.

  Aide

  We want help with trimming apple trees and other garden help, cleaning the hen house, help cleaning the house and cooking dinner, and sometimes walking the dog. We also want help with painting.

  Hébergement

  The traveller will have a private sleeping room. Other rooms in the house will be shared with me, a senior. One livingroom can be used alone if wanted.
  
  My guests will have breakfast consisting of bread with spreads + coffee, tea, milk and juice. Or cereals with milk, yoghurt and fruit, or oatmeal. For lunch they will have slices of bread with spreads, and sometimes a hot lunch; e.g. soup or omelette.
  For dinner there is always hot food with meat or fish, vegetables and potatoes, rice or pasta. Workaways are welcome to cook and serve food from their own culture, if desired. We will of course eat together when it suits them.

  We live 15 min from the nice town Lillehammer, in our community there are 29000 inhabitants. The surrondings invite to hiking in beautiful nature, and a number of interesting museums offer interesting experiences. You can go to town by bus every hour.
