Description
Aloniland is situated at the Northwest of Crete in the Apokoronas-Area. We started 2022 a project to create space for a little community. The land is on a very quiete location, surrounded by Olivefields with a stunning view to the Lefka Ori (White Mountains). If you are interested to stay on this land you will find simple accomodation in a trailer, a shared tent with kitchen an living space, a comfortable bathroom and a lot of outdoor space. We are planning to build a big roundhouse from clay (Start: February 2025) and a small permaculture garden. Feel free to contact me!

In the Apokoronas Area there are many communities and events like Singtogether, Campfire in Wintertime, Djembegroup and Ceremonies. Locals and immigrants from various countries meet in these groups. I personally offer ceremonies from time to time in addition to singing meetings. I would like to introduce you to the different events.
Aide
We need help to create a Permaculture Garden, to clean the land and starting from February 2025 you may assist our carpenter to build the wooden construction for the roundhouse. In September 2025 a lot of hands are welcome to realise the walls made from clay. This project is leaded by a professional Clayhouse builder. A big opportunity to learn how to treat this natural material. Also painting the store house is needed. We love teamwork! Three meals a day can be offered, or we can cook together and the daily helping time is reduced to 3 to 4 hours.

In this area there are a lot of hiking trails. There are long sandy beaches just 15 minutes away by car. If you have a driver's license, you are welcome to use my car by arrangement. The larger towns of Chania and Rethimnon are easily accessible by public bus.

The land is flat an offers enough space for Vans. The entrance allows only smaller Vans (6 meters). For sure you can use the bathroom and the kitchen tent.
