I want someone who, at least, stays 3 months and collaborates 5 hours a day (Monday to Friday). I am looking for someone who speaks French or Arabic, this is important! A minimum experience with young children is also important to me.
Hello! I am Pati, Karim's mother, who is 3 months old and is very good and friendly. We live in a very large house near Barcelona, in a very nice town and well connected to the city (40 minutes by train). La Garriga is a very quiet and welcoming town surrounded by nature. We are near the Mediterranean Sea, so the beach is about 30 minutes, 1 hour if you want to get to the Costa Brava, where there are beautiful beaches. From La Garriga you can do many excursions through the mountains. spend a day in the city of Barcelona or go for a swim at the beach. I work in an NGO in Barcelona but lately I have been working a lot from home. I like nature, animals, doing sports and traveling (before being a host I was a workawayer in several countries). I am fluent in French, Spanish and Catalan and I have a good level of English and Portuguese. I consider myself a very sociable person and I like to maintain a good atmosphere wherever I go (also at home). I have a housemate who is Dutch, her name is Diana and she is going to have a baby in a few days, so soon there will be two babies at home! :)

Quiero alguien que, almenos, se quede 3 meses y que colabore 5 horas al dia (lunes a viernes). Inicio a finales de febrero de 2022. Estoy buscando a alguien que hable francés o árabe de preferencia, aunque se aceptan propuestas! Es importante para mi una mínima experiencia con niños pequeños.
Hola! Soy Pati, la mamá de Karim, que tiene 3 meses y es muy bueno y simpático. Vivimos en una casa muy grande cerca de Barcelona, en un pueblo muy bonito y bien comunicado con la city (40 minutos en tren). La Garriga es un pueblo muy tranquilo y acojedor y rodeado de naturaleza. Estamos cerca del mar Mediteraneo, así que la playa queda a unos 30 minutos, 1 hora si quieres llegar a la costa Brava, donde hay unas playas preciosas. Desde la Garriga se pueden hacer muchas excursiones por la montaña. pasar un dia en la ciudad de Barcelona o acercarte a dar un baño a la playa.
Yo trabajo en una ONG en Barcelona pero durante estos últimos tiempos estoy trabajando mucho desde casa. Me gusta la naturaleza, los animales, hacer deporte y viajar (antes de ser anfitrion fui workawayer en varios paises). Hablo con fluidez francés, español y catalan y tengo un buen nivel de inglés y portugués. Me considero una persona muy sociable y me gusta mantener un buen ambiente alli donde voy (también en casa).
Tengo una compañera de casa que es Holandesa, se llama Diana y va a tener un bebé en pocos dias, por lo que en breve habrá dos bebés en casa! :)

I offer accommodation and food, so that the workawayer has their maintenance covered. The house where I live is large, beautiful and quiet, it is full of plants and has a very large and sunny patio. If you like animals, we have two dogs (Sal and Pepper) and two cats (Mixeta and Wily) at home. I have always liked cultural exchange and that is why my passion is travel. I like spending time with people who are at home and cooking, so that we can have a good time together and learn new things. I can help the workawayer to improve their Spanish or Catalan if they feel like it. I am one of those who believe that we never stop learning if we are with our eyes and ears wide open.

Ofrezco alojamiento y comida, de manera que la persona workawayer tenga su manutención cubierta. La casa donde vivo és grande, bonita y tranquila, esta llena de plantas y tiene un patio muy grande y soleado. Si te gustan los animales, tenemos dos perros (Sal and Pepper) y dos gatos (Mixeta y Wily) en casa.
Siempre me ha gustado el intercambio cultural y por eso mi pasión es el viaje. Me gusta compartir tiempo con las personas que estan en casa y cocinar, de manera que podamos pasar buenos momentos juntos y aprender cosas nuevas. Puedo ayudar al workawayer a mejorar su español o su catalan si le apetece. Soy de las que creo que no dejamos nunca de aprender si estamos con los ojos y las orejas bien abiertas.

I am looking for a person to help me with the care of little Karim so that I can work a few hours a day (at home most days and some day at the office). I basically need help in the mornings to take care of the baby.

Busco una persona que me ayude con el cuidado del pequeño Karim para que yo pueda trabajar unas horas al dia (en casa la mayoria de dias y algun dia en la oficina). Necesito ayuda básicamente por las mañanas para cuidar del bebé.

I offer a nice and bright room in a large house in the center of town. The room has a single bed, a wardrobe and a cushion. It has a balcony that overlooks the street and through which a lot of light enters in the morning.

Ofrezco una bonita y luminosa habitación en una gran casa en el centro del pueblo. La habitación tiene una cama individual, un armario y una cojonera. Dispone de un balcon que da a la calle y por donde entra mucha luz por la mañana.
