  Description

  My name is Walter I'm from Argentina but I'd been living here in México for the last 10 years or so. I feel in love with Mazunte for its beaches, nature and their people. I'm a musician and I'm passionate about ecobuilding.
  
  I'd been building my own house in this area mostly using ecological techniques and my dream is to have a space to host art and bio construction workshops here as well.
  
  Mi nombre es Walter, soy argentino pero llevo viviendo en México desde hace 10 años. Me enamoré de Mazunte por sus playas, la naturaleza y su gente. Soy músico y soy un apasionado de la eco construcción.
  
  He construido mi casa en esta área usando técnicas ecológicas y mi sueño es tener un espacio para dar talleres de arte y bioconstrucción.

  Here you can enjoy the benefit of living on the top of the mountain surrounded by pure nature with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean on the Oaxacan coast. Here you can take advantage of living in a place where you are connecting with the earth all the time, surrounded by trees, typical birds of the area, silence and tranquility but at the same time very close to the magical town of Mazunte. Like 10 minutes walking. Also here you can learn about bio-construction, work the land, learn to plant different foods and plants. We are always willing to teach Spanish.
  
  Aqui puedes gozar del beneficio de vivir en la cima del monte rodeado de pura naturaleza con una vista hermosa del mar pacifico en la costa Oaxaqueña. Aquí se puede aprovechar vivir en un sitio donde estas conectando con la tierra todo el tiempo, rodeado de arboles, pájaros típicos de la zona, silencio y tranquilidad pero a la vez muy cerca del pueblo mágico de Mazunte. Como 10 minutos caminando.
  
  También aquí se puede aprender sobre bio-construccion, trabajar la tierra, aprender a sembrar diferentes alimentos y plantas.
  
  Siempre estamos dispuesto a enseñar español.

  Aide

  To continue creating and finishing our space, we are looking for people who are active and willing to help for 3 hours, from Monday to Friday. We ask that the volunteer make the commitment for at least 2 weeks. The tasks varies between, working on finish building a common room and a green roof, starting a vegetable garden, cleaning and maintaining the space (gardening, making steps, building embankments), helping with art projects such as painting murales. We invite our volunteers to suggest creative ideas. We welcome everyone and we also look for people with different specialties such as eco-builders, artists, carpenters, architects, farmers.
  
  Para seguir creando y terminar nuestro espacio, estamos buscamos gente activa y dispuesta a trabajar por 3 horas, de lunes a viernes. Pedimos que el voluntario haga el compromiso por lo menos una semana. El trabajo varia entre, trabajar en acabados para la sala común, hacer un techo vivo, comenzar un huerto, limpiar y mantener el espacio (jardinería, hacer escalones, construcción de terraplenes), ayudar con proyectos artísticos como por ejemplo pintar murales. Estamos abiertos a que los voluntarios sugieran ideas creativas. Recibimos a todo el mundo y también buscamos a gente con diferentes especialidades como eco-constructores, artistas, carpintero, arquitecto, agricultores.

  Hébergement

  We have 2 comfortable spaces for volunteers. There's a small cabin with an ocean view, but in case it is occupied the space offers camping. You can bring your own tent or here we can also offer you one. The space is private, surrounded by trees. Our bathroom is a dry bathroom, this means that we do not use water to maintain it but sawdust that later becomes compost. We are not offering food right now as its not so many hours. But we have a kitchen with a fridge which you can happily use to cook.
  
  Tenemos 2 espacios cómodos para los voluntariados. Uno es una cabaña con vista al mar y en caso de que esté ocupada, el espacio ofrece camping. Puedes traer tu propia carpa o aquí también te podemos ofrecer una. El espacio es privado, rodeado de arboles.
  
  Nuestro baño es un baño seco, esto significa que no usamos agua para mantenerlo sino aserrín que luego se convierte en composta.
  
  No estamos ofreciendo comida ahora ya que no son tantas horas pero tenemos cocina con refri que se puede utilizar y cocinar.

  We usually work in the morning until 11:00 but we're flexible, then we have lunch and have the rest of the day off. Here you can enjoy everything that the town of Mazunte offers. With beautiful beaches that surround us such as Rinconcito, Mermejita and Punta Cometa to watch the sunset. There are also nearby towns such as San Agustinillo and Zipolite where you can visit other beaches and towns. There are many restaurants, yoga spaces, activities that you can enjoy like going to see the dolphins or whales. Take advantage of and eat typical food from the Oaxacan coast. We are between Puerto Escondido and Huatulco, an hour's drive from both places.
  
  Normalmente trabajamos en la mañana hasta las 11:00 pero somos flexibles con los horarios y tienen el resto del día libre. Aquí pueden disfrutar de todo lo que el pueblo de Mazunte ofrece. Con hermosas playas que nos rodea como Rinconcito, Mermejita y para ver la puesta del sol Punta Cometa. También hay pueblos cercanos como San Agustinillo y Zipolite donde pueden conocer otras playas y pueblos. Hay muchos restaurantes, espacios de yoga, actividades que pueden disfrutar como ir a ver los delfines o ballenas. Aprovechar y comer comida típica de la costa Oaxaqueña.
  Estamos entre Puerto escondido y Huatulco a una hora de camino de ambos lugares.
