  Description

  I live in West Cavan. It's a very old cottage. My garden is fairly wild. I am an artist and teacher, musician and a Buddhist. My training is in horticulture so there are lots of possibilities but I haven't heaps of time or energy with the big tasks.
  It's very rural. I have a bike, needs fixing.Have a cat and a dog. Daughter too but she is travelling.

  . I'm driving all around the county during the week, I can give lifts on my days off or on my way to work. Buddhist centre is 2K down the road, about a half hour walking. There are many volunteers there, travellers and work away folk. I manage the garden.There are Lots of lakes here, scenery UNESCO site. Local traditional music scene 15 minutes drive away. Bogs. Very peaceful (when the farmers aren't making silage or hay). Many ancient monuments, would be of interest to archeological and anthropology scholars. I teach crafts, felt, weaving, natural materials. All sorts of stuff.

  Aide

  The garden tasks would be sawing wood, tidying around, pulling up and cutting invasive bamboo. Bibs and bobs. The house needs a little finishing, painting, replacing some wooden bits. General tidy and cleaning and cooking. It's very rural. I have a bike, I need help fixing it.

  Hébergement

  Accomodation here would be bring a tent but with a little help then, a day,, a room in the house. The house is tiny. If you want more privacy then bring a tent. Or help me build something. Eat at a small table in the kitchen. Did I mention that the house is small! Cook together or for each other. Vegan, dairy free, wheat free ,(not strictly gluten free. Vegetarian and small amount of meat consumption. I cook my dogs dinner in the kitchen. Heating is wood fire stove and some plug in radiator if it's freezing. No central heating. I know, winter, burrrrr
