From the ease of communication to endless local recommendations, super tasty and varied food, ice coffee and cake breaks, and letting us get on with our work once it was explained, and of course all the other pieces in between. The guestrooms are impeccable and gives you a really good opportunity
… read more to take your downtime when you need it. Not to mention the house as a whole being absolutely gorgeous. It took me three weeks and I still got lost in there sometimes! Jonas and Randi are ridiculously kind and carved out time in their days to be attentive while also leaving me the ability to get on with my jobs without "helicoptering". Olina stayed with us for two weeks in March 2024. She was a big help with our projects in the garden and all the tasks we gave her she fulfilled very well. Olina is very polite and pleasant to have around the house. Always helpful with the dishes and happy to share stories from home, so it was very easy to have her stay with us. We wish Olina all

My 2 weeks with Randi, Jonas and Klement were wonderful. They gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at home. I enjoyed the tasks in the garden. We weeded, planted, sawed trees and many other tasks. They always took the time to explain everything and were open to any questions. We always had interesting and funny conversations over a delicious
… read more meal and fooled around with the cute little Klement. The surrounding area is beautiful for cycling or walking. Ebeltoft is a lovely little town with lots to discover and Aarhus is not far away either.
It was a wonderful experience for my first workaway and I will always remember it.

Lina and Nelly stayed with us for the month of November and it was a pleasure to host them.
They are so easy to have around the house as they are kind, sweet, polite and always very helpful.
Lina and Nelly have helped us with a variety of tasks that we would have never gotten around to by ourselves, so we are very grateful for their help.

… read more have: added new soil to our roses and put our weed protection, cleaned our big courtyards with our garden tractor and added new gravel, helped with demolition of our renovation project on the house next door - removing tiles and some small walls, put up Christmas lights and decorations, a little indoor cleaning, and generally cleaned up in our big garden. In spite of not having any experience with some of the tasks, I think they've done a great job and learned along the way. They were even persistent enough to finish weeding the courtyard on a rainy, windy and cold November day.
In the afternoons they've always offered help with cooking and cleaning up after dinner, and they've helped look after our little son, who clearly enjoys their company and smily faces.
We were so happy with hosting them that we helped them find their next host for the last few weeks of their time in Denmark before going home to Germany for Christmas.
We wish Lina and Nelly the best future Workaway experiences!

We’ve stayed with Jonas and Randi for about a month and felt very welcome from the first second. They have treated us with nothing but kindness and made sure we were comfortable at their amazing historical home. It felt like living in a castle!! We had so much fun exploring their property and area (including the sea, forest and the town Ebeltoft)
… read more around it. We mostly did garden tasks and sometimes renovation projects which was really interesting to learn since we hadn’t done some of it before. Either Jonas or Randi always took the time to explain things to us. Furthermore they always made sure we had good, danish and enough food. It was always fun to chat and laugh with them about silly jokes, (country) songs and German memes over dinner or lunch. Their son Klement is the cutest and we really enjoyed playing with him :) Their cat Alfred is also super cute and cuddly!
It was perfect that we came here in the winter so that we had the chance to see the house with all the Christmas lights and decorations which looks amazing.
We greatly appreciate the opportunity of coming here and everything else that Jonas and Randi did for us! We can only recommend coming here! Thank you for this memorable and wonderful time!

Colin stayed with us for just over a week - a short, but definitely productive stay.
Colin is a very experienced workawayer and it was a pleasure to have him with us. He is polite, friendly and hardworking. It was very easy to leave a project to Colin who worked independently with whatever we put him up to.
While he was here he helped us: weed
… read more and build a gravel path, fixing our lawn and replanting grass, move lots and lots of dirt and gravel, trimming some hedges and more.
Colin always offered his help with cooking and cleaning and was very easy to accommodate. He shared stories from his previous experiences and we had some interesting conversations over dinner.
We know Colin's workaway experience has ended for now, but we would invite him back as a workawayer should the opportunity arise.

Jonas and Randi immediately allowed me to feel right at home in their house giving me freedom to explore and use all the available space. I'm thankful to be one of the first workawayers here and to begin some projects in their garden. Jonas and Randi are very friendly, interesting people and were very understanding and considerate to us
… read more workawayers, adapting well to having myself and the other two workawayers in their home. They both prepare some lovely Danish food and have taught me about Danish culture. There are bikes available to borrow, the sandy beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the house, and there is also a spa/jacuzzi which you can relax in during the evening.

We had Runa stay with us for three weeks as our very first workawayer. She came here with the intention to spend a week, but we ended up extending her stay twice as we were so pleased with having her.
Runa is outgoing and has a lot of initiative to get things done and experience whatever comes her way. It was a great pleasure to have her with us.
… read more Runa is easy-going, friendly and likes to chat. She took on any challenge we put her up to head-on and with a smile and was eager to get her hands dirty in our big garden.
During the three weeks she was here she helped us: move 7 tons (!!) of dirt and gravel - in a wheelbarrow - to fix holes in our lawn and rebuild our gravel road, high pressure cleaning wooden deck, oil treatment of deck and tables, weeding, planting strawberries, and much much more. We were impressed with how many projects we got done in the time Runa was with us.
We recommend Runa as a workawayer for sure and if the opportunity comes up we would host Runa again.

I had the most wonderfull time staying with Randi, Jonas and lille Klement!
There were so many jaw-drop moments all the way through my stay. I came there thinking I would only stay for the planned six days, but after all that would never have been enough! So I stayed for a total of three weeks :) thanks again! I feel like there still is a lot

Staying at Nørrehald I fell in love with the stunning views and the vibe of mols bjerge, with cuddling Alfred, the cat, and with the sea aswell. I can also recommend the forest right outside the gate (wich now is perfectly clean ;D) and the fregatten jylland museet, very interesting.
Randi and Jonas are simply so generous and careing!
Also there is nothing that they don't have: knights room, spa (!), sea view, a huge huge garden and much more, but go and discover it yourself!
Just a warning: you might not want to leave again ;)

We had Theresa stay with us for two weeks as our second workawayer.
It was such a pleasure to have her with us. She is kind, polite, easy-going and not afraid to get her hands dirty with our many garden projects. She was open to the challenges we put her up to even if it was something she had not tried before and she did it all with a smile :-)

Among the projects she helped us with: high pressure cleaning wooden deck, oil treatment of deck and tables, weeding, planting strawberries, creating a gravel path, fixing patches in our lawn and much much more. We were impressed with how many projects we got done in the time Theresa was with us.
We recommend Theresa as a workawayer for sure and if the opportunity comes up we would host Theresa again.

I stayed with Randi, Jonas and Klement for two weeks and it was the best first workaway experience I could have asked for. I felt welcome immediately and was given a house tour through their beautiful historical home. It is a very special house and there are so many things to be discovered.
They also have the cutest cat who loves belly rubs.
… read more Randi and Jonas are the kindest hosts, they always made sure that we workawayers were comfortable and they were really generous and considerate. The work was mostly garden projects, and there is a lot of freedom to do your own things and explore. The nature there is incredible too. It‘s a ten minute walk to the beach and swimming in the evening while the sun is setting is just the best. The mols bjerge are also a must-see. There are also beautiful walking trails through the forests. Ebeltoft, a small city nearby, is a really nice city, it has a boatmuseum and a glassmuseum and a beautiful shopping street.
All in all, it was a really great experience and i would do it again immediately.
