Description
We're a boutique slki lodge situated in a Unesco Biosphere reserve at the base of Mt T (known as Tanigawadake Joch in the green season).
Spring is a quiet time with few guests so we're looking for workawayers who are good with their hands. I have lots of wood to chop, things to build, paint and repair. The work is generally physical and any carpenters, plumbers or electricians would be ideal.
Artists are always of interest and there's also plenty of general painting that can be done too.
We pay Y1000/hr and supply accommodation and meals.
From July, the focus is on lodge work as guests start to roll in.
For Winter 26-27 please do not apply unless you are available from Christmas till the end of February.
We generally don't accept couples.
We have a lovely doggy at the lodge.
We prefer omnivores as we aren't vegetarian and don't want to be preparing special meals all the time.

Join a relaxed community of outdoor enthusiasts. Hobbies around here in the green season include swimming in idyllic natural rivers, hiking, climbing, canyoning, rafting, BBQs and campfires as night falls. We also have a Finnish style sauna and a plunge pool fed by natural spring water.

Aide
The lodge is reasonably large, 2000 square meters. There is always plenty to do and jobs that spring to mind include painting, landscaping in the garden, help with guests from a hospitality perspective and cleaning. We offer accommodation, meals and salary of Y1000/hr.

Work was all pretty straight forward. It consisted of cleaning rooms, changing beds, assisting at meal times when busy, mowing the lawn and generally keeping the place clean!

If you like hiking this is also the ideal place as there are plenty of stunning ones within walking distance from the lodge.
