  Hello Workawayers!
  I’m a passionate host with years of experience in international exchange programs, both as a host and a guest. I live just minutes from the beach in vibrant Miami Beach, Florida, and I'm excited to welcome someone who can bring fresh energy and skills to our home and projects. I have a number of personal and household tasks around my home that need tender loving care.
  
  What I'm Looking For
  I’m seeking a motivated and skilled Workawayer with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  
  ✅ IT & Software – Help with systems, troubleshooting, and digital tools, including:
  
  WiFi & internet troubleshooting
  Printer/scanner issues
  Hardware optimization
  ✅ Website & Social Media – Updating, maintaining, and improving our online presence and personal branding
  
  ✅ Video Editing & Graphic Design – Creating engaging home videos and media content, including:
  
  Digitizing miniDV, VHS, and Beta videos
  Creating an electronic press kit and other multimedia projects
  ✅ Tax & Administrative Support – Assistance with organizing documents and structuring both personal and NGO finances, including:
  
  Excel spreadsheets
  Statement downloads & consolidation
  Report & budget generation
  ✅ General Organization & Home/Office Setup – Bringing order and efficiency to create a zen atmosphere!
  
  ✅ Household Maintenance – Light housework, including:
  
  Cleaning
  Repairs

  Workawayers will benefit by being hosted by an experienced family that has participated in family home stays in Ghana, India, Sweden, Brazil and Guatemala. We have also hosted au pairs from Mexico, Panama, and Germany that lived with us for years. We ate meals together and had gatherings together and went out socially. In addition, you will benefit by making a meaningful contribution to a charity that has had a long history of impact. We would be happy to provide a reference and letter of recommendation for your service. Lastly, since we are located in one of the most beautiful vacation areas in the world, you will enjoy the beach, the activities, the ease of visiting sites and tourist attractions and much more.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own air conditioned room with a futon and shared bath. We welcome you to eat meals with the family. For specific dietary needs, you can provide your own food.

  During your time off you can visit the famous South Beach, Ocean Drive and Art Deco District, Wynwood Walls, Miami Design District, Disneyworld, Florida Everglades, Key West, and many other attractions. There is a bus stop right in front of our house. There is also a Freebie that provides free door to door transportation in our neighborhood. The Brightline will get you to Orlando, Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, etc.
  
  We like to spend time taking walks, bike rides, going to the gym, and playing pickleball. We ask our guests to be warm, friendly, clean and respectful of our home and family members. We like the house relatively quiet after 10pm so if you must come and go, please be very quiet.
