Description
Hey there!I am Manuel (34), living on a small farm with three pigs, 2 dogs and cats. I have mixed roots, half Portuguese and German. I'm active , enjoying surfing, ninjutsu and the easy way of life! love to travel, meet different cultures and especially love cooking and eating good & healthy food (as you are what you eat), to get back to the roots by being self-sufficient and working in harmony with nature instead of against it. I am looking for volunteers, that share the interest of a healthy lifestyle and would want to exchange work (4h a day, 6 days a week- but i am flexible) for food, accomodation and the experience of living with me on my little farm!I only just build a little house on the land here and there are heaps of projects to do!I am excited to meet some of you personally :-)If you are interested, please contact me!!

We have experience in gardeing and agriculture, construction work (build houses, garages, gardens) and can share passions such as cooking, travelling, yoga, surfing and ninjutsu and just enjoying life in the beautiful Algarve.

Ruby and Stella were super good workers. I only had to explain the tasks once and the jobs were always completed quickly. They always left the house very clean and also did more things than they were asked to. We had a great time with Niamh. Just had to explain the task one time, and the job was done. She had very high initiative when it came to Cooking and cleaning. Very well educated. She is very spontaneous and not complicated with food or deciding what to do in spare time. We loved having Niamh!

Bronwyn is an amazing person, she is always happy and positive . She had full energy to do any kind of things. She helped me a lot at the garden and with the animals. Sairrah is a very communicative and proactive person! She adapted very quickly to the farm and work, always with a big smile on her face. She's a very hard-worker, and loves physical labour. Taught me some Japanese and is a great cook. It was her first experience and it worked really well :) See you when you come again!
